I got a full system akrapovic on my z 900 and after marked air filter, got my bike set up with custom mapping for fuel and air so the ecu got flashed so it fit my bike 100%.. my bike was really rich setup from stock some places in the rev meter and really lean in other places, after a couple of dyno runs he got it perfect so it really runs as great as it can with the mods I got on my bike, got rid of all the restrictions and opened up the bike! ... Runs really great now ! ... also fixed the bike getting super hot with letting the fan kick in earlier, little things like this just to make the bike as great as possible :) great video!
So did you just remap it? Or did you do a power Commander as well? I'm just confused as to if you need a power Commander AND an ecu flash or if they're the same thing or?
@@SimpleSimon no.i still have the bread box.i don't know what to choose and I'm not computer savey. What about if I was to get my ecu flashed.im just wanting the right preformance.I live near tail of the dragon.i ride mostmy mtn rds.
@@parkwayrider4730 just got back from the dragon a month ago I love it there. If I could do it over again I would go with the ECU flash seems easier and you get more out of it. disables your O2 and your AIS system and alot of other benefits.
I have been using the Map from Dynojet, I updated this video, that the AIS was still sucking air and it was throwing my readings off. Thanks for watching
If you want performance, go for Sprint Air Filters ($100): brocksperformance.com/sprint-filter-p08-kawasaki-z900-2017/ Edit: You don't need to rewash and re-oil it like DNA or K&N. Sprint Filters are oil-free. Just blow the dust away with an air compressor and you're good. If you want even more clean airflow, you'll need to spend $240 for the P08-F1-85: brocksperformance.com/sprint-filter-p08-f1-85-kawasaki-z900-2017/

Sounds Great! Thank you.

What do you mean by took down bikes restrictions?
Thanks for your video bro !
Really good test, appreciate to see that you're working like a pro
You get 40-50mpg?! I get like max 34 on my z900
LOL you must be heavy on the gas. Thanks for watching.
Great video! I'm struggling to figure out what Im gonna do on my z900 after I get headers if I need auto tune?
Do you already have a Power Commander installed?

Lol. I'm getting 31-32 mpg..... I have full exhaust system. Just changed my filter and put K&N air filter.... I wonder why I have such low mpg.
I get mid to high 30's if I am fuel throttle all the time, What rpm do you see your self at all the time?
@@SimpleSimon I usually keep my bike 5-6 rpms sometimes I go above that and guilty of taking off fast lol. May be thats why
Something seems wrong, I get 40-44 mpg even out for fun riding.
Yeah I get 40 minimum when I've been ripping on it doing redline pulls.
Man this is amazing, how you collected this much data from bike
I did a update video on this, I used tape to block the AIS and it didnt hold and let more air into the exhaust throwing off my readings.
I just bought DNA air filter, i think it will be a waste if your bike just run on slip on exhaust.
what windscreen is that friend?
It came with the Bike so I am not sure what brand the last owner said it was from Amazon.
How do u get this map?

@Simple Simon can you e-mail me the map so I cn try it ?
Here is a link to download there maps, www.dynojet.com/tunes/17-070
@@SimpleSimon this is dynojet map... Just want to try auto tune map which u got after auto tune adjustment if possible
If I swap from the factory filter to a K&N will I need to retune my Z900?
No there has been alot of testing and it seems the Z runs rich so its a good match.
@@SimpleSimon what about K&n air filter with Delkevic decat header for Z900rs . Do you need to ecu remap?
What is the difference in price?
Stock air filter is around $40.00 and the DNA air filter was around $100.00.
@@SimpleSimon Wow so expensive, what is the meaning with the DNA filter?
@@johanzh2550 The DNA filter is similar to a K&N air filter its reusable and increases performance.
