Sober Life Story - Jake - How I quit drinking alcohol and became sober - with Simon Chapple

Jake has been a member of the Be Sober Facebook Group for quite some time now and is celebrating 14 months sober in just a few days - how amazing, well done!
I was honoured that he joined me to share his sober life story. We talked about his drinking days, what made him realise something needed to change and how he actually quit drinking.

Music had a huge influence of Jake's life but also meant he found himself surrounded by alcohol on a regular basis and face the challenge of being the 'odd one out' if he didn't drink.
Jake is an inspirational person and it is so refreshing to hear another man speaking out and being open, honest and vulnerable. I hope this gives a message to other guys out there - that there is no shame in talking about our issues.
