  • In 2022, Water, Mills & Marshes worked with the Friends of Hardley Mill and local filmmaker Julian Claxton to create this in-depth look into the history and operation of one of the few remaining operational wind pumps in the Broads. This film was supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.

    MY FASCINATION WITH MILLS WAS WATCHING "A VICTORIAN CHRISTMAS" WHEN RUTH AND ALEX VISITED ONE (NOT SURE WHERE) TO GRIND WHEAT INTO FLOUR. "THIS" I FIND MOST INTERESTING TO ACTUALLY SEE THE REAL REASONS FOR THESE. I HOPE A DEMO OF ONE WILL BE SHOWN SOMEDAY!
