This is a super impressive video! 26 tips in alphabetical order in 18 minutes! Girl, you have found your calling in life and it is empowering countless people! Awesome job!
Same with the wishlist! I let things sit there and in my virtual carts for at least 3 days - I usually forget what it was! And most of the time I decide I can do without
After my original declutter of a room I go back periodically and find more. I always wonder why did I keep this the last time I decluttered? I just wasn't ready to part with it then I guess. It's definitely an ongoing process.
I love this!!! You could use this to write a book: The ABCs of Minimalism, ABC Go Minimal With Me, ABC Declutter With Me... something like that. What each letter stands for could be the heading for short chapters explaining each tip like you did in the video.
My daughter and I share my Amazon prime and we put things in the cart and immediately hit “save for later” then we usually forget about or now we have gift ideas for the other person at Christmas or birthdays! It helps so much. Great video!!
Unbelievably fun, creative, THOUGHTFULLY organized and relevant!! One of my favorites to date! Happy to be part of your family here, Candice. Well-Done!! I'm jotting each one of these (26) points down...just bc they are SO PERFECTLY true of me now and bc there might be a few that I need to revisit!! So HAPPY to have found your channel!
i’ve been on leave from work (from NHS England) and due to the shops now being open, i had time to shop - I have bought an extra winter coat (which i not only did not need, but now have to store) I have also been thrifting this week and yes additional stuff is now in my house - shockingly I need to go back to work to save money and not buy. Love your motivation and enthusiasm. Lesley England xx
I love your A B C list. Your a happy "cheerleader" of my decluttering and downsizing journey. I get discouraged as this is slow process and forget where I was coming from. This takes time and a continual thing to work on. Thanks for sharing.
Great video I liked that you had minimal distractions you didn’t have periods of just music and you got to the point it wasn’t too fast but it was straight into the point which is what I need really enjoyable video thank you
I was an impulse buy queen! because the items were so cute, YAH!!! now those cuties are on goodwill shelves. This was tuff but I do not buy on impulse anymore. Thanks for a great video!!
Intentionally. That is the motivation for myself when you live with a husband, 2 teen grandchildren and their Mom my daughter that is not on the same perspective of managing their stuff” by taking care of it. The journey for me was to come to terms that decluttering was for my sanity. We own a comfortable five bedroom, 2 living rooms (bowling alley style) and kitchen that is good. Oh did you hit right the “guilt” cycle. The decluttering is both mental and physically as you mentioned. Some days emotional and others both. I have taken photos in the process to remind myself as you noted of what I have done for positive encouragement. Transition into this mindset has allowed me too to come to the conclusion that there is hope for my family!!! We can only shoot for the stars on this journey.
I love your style. Your home is beautiful. I am working on decluttering our home to get it ready to sell and it is not an easy task. Thanks for the tips and motivation.
You are my FAVORITE youtuber of all times! I am an impulsive buyer, i am a hoarder from h**l. My home is bursting at the seams. My husband has had enough! I'm so THANKFUL I found your channel. And I know you know this but alot of youtubers advertise all this junk! It's like giving an alcoholic booze. It was ruining my life. I would spend my last dollar on stuff i thought I needed and wanted. I have cut back on my channels and like I said.....a few weeks ago I stumbled on your channel. I have gone back and watched all your past videos (hince this video is older). You are stuck with me lol! Do these youtubers know what they are doing to people like me? It's sinful and all they care about is making money off people like me. I mean I know everyone has to make a living Sorry so long! I just canceled my Ipsy bag. I still have the ipsy glam plus and Allure. One step at a time 🥰. I could go on and on. My poor husband, thank God he loves me. Until the next time! And again thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤!
Amazing video, wow, how have you learnt so much in such little time? And then applied it!! I've been on this journey for 5 years now. You've nailed it girl! You could not have made this more informative!
I loooooove using wishlists. It's such a reflection of what I feel want and lack for. I'll look at my wishlist an shop the house for the dupes I likely already have ...(such as skincare or active-wear)
I found since I canceled my Amazon prime membership I quit going on Amazon and buying stuff, now the only way I go on there is when I need something that I can't get elsewhere and then I try to talk myself out of buying it because I don't want to spend extra money on the shipping.
A-Always be purging. B-Buy less on impulse. C-Clear surfaces. D-Decide your decluttering method. E-Expect this to be a process. F-Forgive yourself. G-Give items away. H-Have a vision. I-Include your family. J-Journal your progress. (Before and after pics) K-Keep things that you love and things that serve you. L-Limit your exposure to ads. M-Make room for what matters. N-Never organize what you can discard. O-Own less. Live more. P-Prioritize areas that you use the most. Q-Quality over quantity. R-Remember why you're doing this. S-Shop less. Save more. T-Take it one day at a time or trust your intuition. (As suggested by other commenters.) U-Use your resources. (Friends to help, clutter challenges, etc.) V-Value your time. Declutter when you can. W-Wish lists are amazing to help you not shop on impulse. X-Xpectations should be reasonable. Y-You have the power to make your visions a reality. Z-Zone your home. Break chores into chunks.
When you said “grandma is coming to town” made me think of how my kids call my mom “Granna Claus.” She loves buying goodies. I just started singing this in my head Granna Claus is coming to town! 😂
When I want to buy something for example a new shirt or hoodie or anything. I wait 2 weeks and if I still want the item i get it. But spot of the time you realise you dont even really want the item
“You have the power”... Yes! 💪🏼🦸🏼♀️ ...I’m interested to know; did you start your minimalist journey alone or was your partner onboard? Has it taken time to persuade him? x
Ideas: Stop buying stuff. Stop adding to the hoard. Give stuff back to people it belongs to. Some of your clutter doesn’t even belong to you! Just pick up one thing at a time. Put it where it belongs. Now just pick up one more thing. Just keep disturbing the pile. Then it’s not so overwhelming.
Never organize what you can discard. So good!😊
🙌🏻🤩
That was my favorite one too!

I agree! She’s amazing!
I agree! I just really need words to pop up so they go into my simple brain 🤯
My husband and I have narrowed two dressers down to one in our room:) just filled up my van for the millionth visit to goodwill
Own less, live more. 💗 Yes!! Love this!

What a great idea! 😍

I need to improve on forgiving myself. I often forget that and I'm too harsh on myself for the clutter I own!
I am constantly purging and decluttering. I also am really careful about what I buy and I really think into depth about each item I am buying.

A great tip that has really helped me is if its not a neccessity make yourself wait 24 hours before you buy it. 90% of the time I leave it.
When you said “grandma is coming to town” made me think of how my kids call my mom “Granna Claus.” She loves buying goodies. I just started singing this in my head
Granna Claus is coming to town! 😂
Great channel thank you
Aw thank you, Stephanie!
If I would invite my mother to declutter my house, I would end 4 walls and a window in my house :D She is EXTREME minimalist. :D :D
Brilliant idea ABC - although did you miss “T” 🤔 nevertheless this was excellent lol 💖💝🌺✅✅✅
That's such a cute shelf stand behind you when you are talking in the video? Where did you get it?
Lov this video u r so right in everything u said
Wonderful list.
Could you tell me where you got your living room curtains from? They are gorgeous ❤️. Exactly what I'm looking for
Curious minds want to know what is the 'T" tip? The video seems to have jumped from S to U.
Great tips
Glad you enjoyed watching!
This is so good, but I didn't hear anything for "T." Great job, though! Maybe "Take it one day at a time" or something. 😆
Was there a "T"? I think I missed it! Help, please! This was AMAZING!!
just signed up, love your videos . Dont you have a facebook page?
Awesome 👍
T! What about T?! I’m going to say Time and Target 🤔😬😘😆
why wear a cap during decluttering? 🤔
When I want to buy something for example a new shirt or hoodie or anything. I wait 2 weeks and if I still want the item i get it. But spot of the time you realise you dont even really want the item
GREAT tip! I love this one!
I just realized you look kinda like Demi Lavato :)
❤️❤️❤️
Did any friends catch what "T" was? If it was overlooked somehow, maybe it could be, "Trust Your intuition" :D :D
