Yeah, I kept it short and simple, but the message in Paul was clearly about enduring hardship and suffering from prison. People often quote that verse about strength and success, when it’s really very clearly about finding peace when things aren’t going how you’d like. This game (like Tennessee) will be all about if Milroe can hit the open receivers. Alabama should have advantages on offense, but if he can’t make the reads or throws, LSU’s defense will get very aggressive at the line
I think Alabama wins 31-27. I just don’t trust LSU’s defense against a mobile quarterback right now. I think Nussmeier is very similar to Beck in that when he throws in rhythm with protection he looks like a first round QB that can shred any defense, but when he starts throwing A LOT (40+ passes) and deals with some pressure, he starts making A LOT of mistakes. I think he has a very similar game that Beck did against Alabama, boom or bust, a lot of yards and a lot of mistakes. I’m terrified of picking against this LSU team at home at night against their biggest rival, but I just think Alabama is the better team.

I agree but the committee is not supposed to take the championship games into account in the rankings. Basically they are seeding games now. The only thing that could change who is in the playoff is if a team ranked below 12 wins a conference championship, say Colorado wins and that pushes a 12th ranked team out. Jadais Richard is out for the season which means this team will have to survive until/if they get their true #1 corner back in Damari Brown. 4. Alabama - Explosive offense that only stalls against elite defensive lines. Not particularly good on the defensive line and not particularly disciplined on the back end. 5. Georgia - Limited offensively with a solid run game. The QB has a weak arm. The defense is sound but without a particularly effective defensive line. Extremely Deep.
