They all sound so dry, give short answers and don't ask me anything, don't get to try to know me better, and when I try and say something thays not about them they interrupt me and/or don't realize I'm talking....makes me feel absolutely horrible and worthless.

My ex constantly stayed up until 6am in the morning, and I would always stay up with her to keep her company even when I had my classes at 9am. I prioritized her over my sleep. After a repeat of me constantly worrying over her health over mine, she finally told me that she couldn't sleep because she went through a series of nightmares where she was getting ra*ed by a group of random men. I comforted her during her troubles, but she finally on an early morning gave me the reason that we should break it off because she couldn't maintain a relationship with me because of her mental struggles. I had always wondered if I was more experienced or older, could I have had kept our relationship going? Even to today, I blame our break-up entirely on me not being able to consolidate our bond. I couldn't properly demonstrate that she was safe with me, and that's the thought that I think of nearly everyday, haunting me. I suffer from insomina nearly every night because of it. I felt like I had failed as a man/person not being able to give her warmth while she was with me. I was so in love with her that I was blinded by her troubles, just like the lyrics in 'Wonder', "What if, you weren't so depressed? And, what if, I wasn't so obsessed~ with love?" I'm thankful I found Eric Nam's songs.
