Never played that sorry. But if you are into survival games this would give you a decent experience. It also has its progression similar to MMOs (multiple skills you can focus on with expertise points, it takes longer when you are 750+/900. Lots of things to focus on; npcs/horses/production/levelling/levelling your npcs/levelling your horses; if you are on pvp server surviving in the meantime:) ) Also if you are into Mount&Blade style combat you are also good I'd say. Sometimes there are lagspikes when you are in big fights but thats not a big deal. UI is actually quite efficient, just looks bland IMO.
Yes unfortunately official servers are broken in terms of economy and ownership of counties. 1 man alt clans control the entire tax income for 1 single guild most of the time. Season servers might change things but tbh not holding my breath.
Worth buying as a new player? played mortal online 2 but seems like this game has more to offer but UI seems more cluttery :p

Their bases are so open inside. Goes to show they have 0 fear of losing since they can just buy everything back with the 20 counties they own
