- There's nothing more satisfying than getting stuck into a real mucky one, so when our friend James said he was heading all the way to Austria and back in his widebody Ford Focus ST, we knew we had to get our hands on it when it returned. He did, however, forget to mention he would have his four-legged friend with him on the journey.

Usually people in the UK 🇬🇧 doesn’t use winter tyres because it doesn’t freeze or show that much but for the last 2 years we had some pretty rough weather, but there are some people that are using winter tyres.
Personally because I don’t driver outside of the UK 🇬🇧 with my car I didn’t get winter tyres, but I am still rocking Michelin cross climate 2s on my car, which are certified as winter tyres and plus they do good in every weather conditions I had them on my previous cars too. Highly recommend them if you live in the UK, or in any other part of the world where you don’t use winter tyre.
@@_MrRed_ i commute 73 miles per day 5 days a week on a dual carriageway and some people well most drive like its the summer, in Scotland i am more concerned about Ice than Snow. At work there are so many cars with bald spots etc these people scare me as they have child seats in them.
When i see a cracking car like this with winters on makes me proud to know someone else cares about what happens to them and there car which in turn looks out for other people.

My focus st edition looks just like this did before it was cleaned. Really needs a good going over. Try and keep it clean in this weather but within couple days it’s back to how it was. But when it’s clean., like this, looks the bo**cks !! Love it !!

Gotta say, just switched back to you guys after a few months of being not having much money coming in and falling out of love with my car since it's had problem after problem but the quality of your products is second to none!

2/. Do you guys ever talk about what products you’re using?
3/. I’m in the US, I saw where you’re going to start selling your products here sometime soon. I’ll be keeping my eye out for that. I’m super interested in whatever you’re spraying as what seems like your final top coat?
Don’t use power washer on the engine bay. Not a good idea especially with the number of electronics on modern cars
It's generally fine to use a pressure wash on your engine bay, just keep a distance like he does in the video and cover up anything that would need covering up the same way.
The focus being the way it is only needed the cone filter covering, yours might need more
I do detailing I pressure wash the engine bay of every single vehicle and I have never had an issue

good video, would be better to have pop-up text on which product you are using, for those that don't know the product range. If the owner fitted some rallyflapZ mudguards, there wouldn't be as much sling down the side of the vehicle, or road rash on the paint -- they worked well on my ST years ago.

That color is great, wish my 2016 ST came in that color! Though I do really like my RaceRed...but after having 2 kids...my back seat area looks just like that...and my wife keeps commenting on how she's surprised I havent detailed my car in a long time...i really need a good detail job, want to protect my paint and the car just FEELS better when cruising in a nice freshly cleaned car!

Good morning love, watching the videos just one thing would be nice if when you are detailing the car too short run through the product of what you’re using and to explain in a bit more just to give people an idea on products like with the verso on the mats, and things like that, I would never of known that you could do that, so just just a bit of a thought, but love the Vlogs thank you
Its something we need to do more of the talk-throughs, its just we are so busy with other parts of the business that we don't often find the time, maybe we could do some less cinematic and more run-and-gun type content like that. Certainly a good idea.

I honestly hate cleaning the rear of these cars. They get Uber filthy compared to anything else I've owned. Any tips would be awesome 👌 I do have a solid pressure washer with various nozzles and foam canon.

I used to wash and wax my Car’s all of the time it was just the weather has been so bad it wasn’t worth it .

I’ve spend money on her , new tyres wheel alignment , wheel refurbs . New brakes, new clutch kit, it’s coming together now .

Clutch was Hard as Nails after buying it Ford took no responsibility I had to pay £1000 my self.
£600 new tyres £280 wheel refurb . It’s mounting up.. I wasn’t happy with the car, I still don’t as much as my Remapped 2017 .

Why did you fallout and tar and glue, then wash. Wouldn't the contact during these ground the dirt in?
We wash the car first, decon and then rewash to neutralise the solvents and remove and clay bar lubricant that can interfere with later polishing stages or prohibit bonding of waxes and sealants.

Genuine curiosity, why would you spend time on wheels before just jet washing and snow foaming the whole car? That seems to be the process everyone takes (eg Ammo NYC etc.)
You start with the wheels as that’s the dirtiest part of the vehicle.

@@DAMTB even if you know what you are doing water will always find its lowest point so god knows where that water has ended up 🤷♂️
@@ryanSLF if your going right up close with high pressure then sure, but if you spray with less pressure from a further distance then that is absolutely fine. Obviously you should always check for exposed electrics and intakes. But jet washing an engine bay is absolutely fine, if you are doubtful of cleaning one then leave it to the professionals
