The droning hypnotic pulses coming from the guitar player wielding the SG were great. Not to mention the keyboard player who helped to incorporate the "Iron-Butterfly effect". Also, those exotic mid-eastern harmonies really struck a chord with me.
Someone's Dad had a whole bunch of old Kraut Rock, Hawkwind and Euro prog bands from the 70's..... not that that is a bad thing..... would rather listen to this all day than (c)rap or dance music....
I found a different shot somewhere and it's a Paiste with a big hollow label on the bottom. It's likely a ride from the "traditionals"-line, probably a 20" light ride. The crash is a 2002 Wild Crash.
Yes, there is still good music out there, made by people under 50 who can actually play their instruments live. It sucks so much that they have so little chance of getting widely popular. The internet giveth and the internet taketh away. Mostly it taketh away from the people who do the work and giveth to the folks who don't, which has a lot to do with our current musical quagmire.
Some dad, somewhere in Victoria must be very very proud.
I like it when drummers are positioned in front, it looks so cool.
Man that organ!! 90's look with a 60's sound. Love this.
Sometimes I wonder where all the good music has gone. Australia, apparently.
UnsounderGnome Yep so many good Aussie bands it's wild.
The absence of a rap/hip-hop scene in australia made rock flourished
Try the Nordic countries.....
@@zoflax haha yeah maybe, what about australians being descendants of english people, those guys can go no wrong when it comes to great musicians

I really dig her ride cymbal. Looks like a Paiste signature. Anyone know the exact model?
not sure of the series, but it seems to be a crash/ride, sounds good as both, and the bell is nice too.

Terence McKenna would be proud!
