You got it right ! Our responsibility as parents to teach our children! See something, say something ! We have these conversations all the time. What is acceptable and what is NOT! My viewpoint on a lot of child rearing, some parents feel defeated and just have given up on trying . More help needs to be given at church without judgment!

There is a book I would recommend. You would have to get it through interlibrary loan. It is from the 80s. Inside the Aquarium: The Makings of a Top Soviet Spy by Viktor Suvarov. The author explains how the Soviet Union trained its spies to be observant, to see more than the average person, to expand their range of vision, to see through disguises. People can be taught how to be more observant. It takes practice, but it can be done. That would help people spot abusers and a lot of other things in life as well.

Such a powerful story! These boys are simply remarkable and heroic. They remind me of one of my friends from junior high, who also couldn’t stand to see girls treated with disrespect. He was my hero.
