Penny's made in 2008 are low mintage, that is new to me. That's awesome thanks. I went through my pennies I sorted in the 2000 dates. I have quite a few of both D and P! I can see why the Denver was not made well for this year but the ones I have are very nice. I always keep every 2009 penny that I find as well.

"Only" an estimated $1100 for a 2008P in MS68! Haha. I'm still very new to this hobby, but that seems like really good money for just an 11 year old penny! Guess I need to look out for 2008 uncirculated sets! Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving!!
Aloha! I just wanted to point out that your two expensive MS68 Denver pennies were both showing the A&M touching, as well. I’m wondering if that’s one of the reasons they sold for so high.

I was watching your video and decided to go through my pennies because I just started coin collecting I have quarters nickels dimes and I went through my pennies looking for 2008 I haven’t found a S or a W yet but I did find a 2008 penny with no mintmark and it still has a shine to it thanks for the info

Since I am not totally sure all that you are stating. I have a 2008 Philadelphia (no mint mark) that is in very nice shape and is a very shiny penny. Is this possibly one you mentioned that may be worth something?

Just looking through two dimes in for pennies I had in my pocket I came up with the painting and it said almost excellent shape I just happened to look it up because it had initials on his collar
The special finish satin pennies wears off in the plastic holder in the original mint packaging. I have hundreds of them.

I'm a total beginner and very appreciative of your channel, as I always learn a lot from your videos. I just found one red 2008 D in my change. I mean, it looks red to me, but what do I know? It doesn't seem to have scratches except very minor ones and only visible via a 10X lens. Ok great! But now I don't know what to do with it. Save it? Sell it? Are coins valuable only when graded by a reputable coin dealer? If "dealer" is even the right word .... if not, I apologize. Anyway, thank you. I guess I'll find out eventually. Oh, one more question: I checked and Pill Pouches are not made from PVC. Given that people put medications in them, are they safe for coins as well? The manufacturer claims they have no leakage of damaging fumes. Thank you.

I don't know what it would cost to send it off but i just sent one penny off to NGC which is a great Grading Co.but it was $70 just for one have to wait an see what there going for, but i know it can't be $70.

A friend has a 2008 no mint Lincoln cent that is larger in diameter and appears to be made of a different material. The detail on Lincoln's hair particularly stood out to me. It almost appears to be fake but idk. I'm going to encourage him to either get it looked at or sell it to me for $20!

Yeah, no kidding. I try and save the best example I can of every year I can find. You would think 2008 I have more nicer ones since later year. I have a few nice 2008D and Ps but dont think they quite MS68. One maybe a MS67 but Im an amatuer and probably grading high. Took your suggestion from one of you videos to compare against the images on PCGS website. Awesome btw, thanks. And thanks for another great video for the collection. Wait, did you say Ps too? I got one really nice P that might go MS68 or MS69, D , aaah, not so much.
