Seeing more artists diving into this "Botanical" sort of style makes me even happier. The astonishing work of organic sound design that this genre/artistic current/whatever you want to call it, of music makes for an incredible experience at least for me. There's just something so visceral about it that I can't explain. A newfound connection with nature and it's elements now being shaped and turned into something new and musical, fused with digital as well as acoustic instruments, creating an otherworldly palette of soundscapes that picture a world where digital and physical reality converge into celebrating the simple beauty of life. Best therm to describe this feeling is probably "Sublime". You're a great artist and you got me hooked. Keep doing what you love and inspire others to do so cause we really need more room to wonder in this world.
Agree on all fronts. I've never heard anything remotely close to Tennyson before... and with all due respect to the master, do you have some recommendations of other artists I could check out in this "Botanical" style? I can't get enough of it!
@@cubedroid5087 Masukatsu Takagi, ford. , D'art, northencloud, Chet Porter, Alexander Panos, tai hirose (Which is phritz's side project), Fla.mingo, Glacier, Charlie, Porter Robinson, Aethoro, Hundaes, wylie hopkins, Ruth de Las Plantas, a r u k a. , Bon Iver, haruka nakamura, Jaron, San Holo, atura, Byegone, Sebastian Vydra. They all make different kind of genres and styles but (At least to me) they all fall into this vibe more or less.
This feels like suddenly waking up in a strange place inside of a capsule. In the middle of an island surrounded by a vast and endless sea of water on a bright blue sunny day , suddenly you see birds and whales flying next to you.
Absolute blessing to listen to this masterpiece, Luke! The beauty about your style is that it's so complex and syncopated but still feels so calm, peaceful and cohesive.
