You do realize that you can just ask for their role as jailor since jailor is confirmed good and they could cooperate or test the roles to confirm crew. Also, you had two games as jailor and only jailed one at the start of a game when you had no info. So chat was kind of right in telling you to just use your role on anyone, you can ask them to use that role in a specific way like engineer to fix the next sabotage instantly, or transporter to switch two specific people. And also if you jailed someone you’re already confirmed of you could just skate your identity suspicions and make plans on who to monitor next. Jailor is probably one of the most overpowered roles in the game especially because you could clear two or three people and stick together to survive near end game with two other confirmed.
Altrive just does not care to use it lol. The only time he actively used Jailor was for a bit, he does not have an incentive to play it that way unless he thinks it's funny.
