I always loved that tilted aim angle in Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood. While not a common practice, gunslingers of the old West did sometimes do that, believing it improved their accuracy.
And it passed to 20th century as 90's gangsters also used it . The pose is cool but i believe its only for showoff
It's funny that no game wanna bother with making the reload realistic. Considering it takes a year to reload in real life

In this instance, I think I am fine with no realistic reload cuz good god that would slow gameplay to a halt
even the conversion of the Cap and Ball would be something like a loading gate plus having the shotgun barrel still be a cap and ball or completely black powder cartridges conversion it. Then again, Centerfire exists.
Roblox Wild West is probably the closest I can think of. The LeMat takes about 45 seconds to reload completely.
Quite surprised the LeMat in Hunt: Showdown can also use a single-shot smooth-bore secondary barrel
If we ignore it uses a shotgun shell instead of gunpowder and balls, then yeah.

All games should have that feature really. RDR2 also did it
@@I_HaveAReasonToo In-universe it is referred to as the LeMat MK2 implying it did receive a cartridge conversion like the Colt revolvers of the early west did.

Basically in the same vein how OICW in original _Far Cry_ works: switch from rilfe module to "airburst" grenade launcher module, and vice versa.

I love how hunt showdown needs to fictionalize Lemat based on West World since if they do its actual reload it will take forever

I like how in Call of Juarez, both games, you only need to pull the hammer back if you want to shoot pausedly, otherwise the gun becomes double action, lmao!
The logic don't make sense though
the games are fast paced. if it was realistic like that then that fast paced action would be lost heavily
I'm a little surprised you didn't include RDR1. That game also had a LeMat revolver.

My favourite revolver on Hunt Showdown with unrealistic reload on shotgun-mode when the six-bullet cylinder are dissapear lol
There is two part of cylinder, because the cartridge conversion, the model did right

its not set hundreds of years in the future, it takes place in the 2050s. so not that long till we hit AWs time

르맷 리볼버는 프랑스 알렉상드르 르마가 미국 뉴 올리언스에 거주하다 설계한 전장식 퍼커션 흑색 화약 리볼버로 희한하게도 탄피 방식이 아니라 머스킷처럼 구슬 넣고 화약 넣는 방식을 사용하며 장탄은 9발로 다른 리볼버는 6발이 정석이지만 이건 9발인게 참 특이한 케이스이다.그래서인지 별명은 리볼버의 탈을 쓴 머스킷으로 하지만 이 총의 가장 산탄총 기능까지 있는데 리볼버 주제에 산탄 기능까지 있는것을 보면 대체 어떻게 설계했길래 이런 기능이 있는지 참 의문이다.하지만 그 의문은 아마 총열 두번째에 있는데 피커션 캡을 끼우고 화약 넣고 산탄을 넣고 해머로 쑤시면 된다.왜냐하면 두번째 총열이 산탄 총열이다.산탄을 쓰려면 헤머를 아래로 꺾으면 산탄을 사용할수 있게 된것이다.이게 어찌보면 마스터 키 나 유탄 발사기와 비슷한 격이다.
왠만한 서부극에도 이런 총이 나오긴 하지만 장식 퍼커션 흑색 화약 방식 리볼버 보다는 싱글 액션 아미 같은 탄피 리볼버가 대부분이 많이 나온다.
The Lemat revolver is a full-length percussion black powder revolver designed by French Alexandre Lemat while living in New Orleans, USA. Strangely, it uses a bead and gunpowder method like a musket rather than a cartridge type. It holds 9 rounds, while other revolvers have 6 rounds as standard. It is a very unique case in that it has 9 rounds. Perhaps that is why its nickname is a musket disguised as a revolver, but this gun has the function of a shotgun, but seeing that it has a shotgun function in addition to the revolver theme makes me wonder how it was designed to have such a function. However, The question is probably in the second barrel, and you can put a picusion cap on it, add gunpowder, add buckshot, and hit it with a hammer. Because the second barrel is a shotgun barrel. To use buckshot, you can use buckshot by bending the hammer down. .In some ways, this is similar to a master key or a grenade launcher.
Although guns like this appear in most Western movies, most of them are single-action army-like cartridge revolvers rather than decorative percussion black powder revolvers.
make that into a break double action cartridge conversion .44 remake with strong metal and you got yourself the perfect gun.

The last variant of the LeMat (the one shown in the Call of Juarez games) looks like a steampunk weapon.
Reload animation in Call of Juarez is very fast af.
I like how advanced warfare lemat revolver is m1 irons. And also. The lemat revolver design in advanced warfare was revolver and it has 6 pellets in a cylinder, and they called it m1 irons, and when you try to shoot. The hand appeared instantly at the hammer, so the fire rate is really fast.
I never even knew this gun had a secondary fire which allowed it to fire a bigger round through the middle chamber.
After learning how long it actually takes to reload the LeMat Revolver IRL, it feels like the kind of weapon that you would just stop using after it's empty simply because of the ridiculously long reload time.
That is why cowboys carry two guns. If one gun ran out, pull out another one. It's like saying "switching to your pistol is faster than reloading" literally

If I'm mistaken I'm mistaken... But that's where I saw the video on it, way back when it first came out.. as he says the guys in the shows is some futuristic conversion, as he did a whole video about the gun appearance in the show

They could have done better in the last 2 seasons IMO, but they're still really good... I just wish they'd have setup for more seasons...
Actually thinking about the storyline... It really is an incredible show... And while it's not the show I thought it'd be from season 1, I enjoyed it enough to watch it all again every year... I guess I just say the ending is bad because it was an ending...
As they could have done 10 more seasons n I'd watch... Though, then it wouldn't be as awesome and probably would have actually ended in like "game of thrones" bad style...
Though a spin off feudal Japan world, or Roman occupation of the Levant world(I'm not naming the country by it's current name n derailing my point) or like even some kinda cool "faux zombie/aliens/horror/apocalypse " world would be cool and then like show the real world of the time

Used in a game, probably don't wanna have their players spend 10 minutes reloading and the cartridge version is ugly, but still used in some (as you could see later in the video)
@@k1ng_chicken oh I get why it's used in a game esp cod where if you aren't doing something for 15 seconds, you'll get a bad kd ratio or your players will switch to a better suited to ADHD game
