I was surprised to hear that, I’m a little older than you and bought my first pair in ‘04-‘05 they were the true red lows, first Nikes with a full leather tongue (supposedly) and been collecting ever since. Of course it’s not like these days but even back then people were lining up at stores like NJ 2 by Rutgers campus in jersey and big collabs were near impossible to get unless you had a hookup at the shop. Yeah I currently only have my Supreme x Nike SB Denim GTS My first pair of SBs were the DJ Clark Kent 113 Dunk Lows, then the Diamond Supply Co Dunk Highs. I also found a pair of Mosquito's in a resale shop in 2016 for like $95! Regret selling those let me tell u! Since then I've only copped SBs to resell (besides the Rammellzees) Tbh they are pretty difficult to cop when they have some hype behind them!
