    I used to also test gels, but I'm fed up with them as an ammo, had to keep growing new ones and sorting them but storing them for a while (weeks) results in them going squishy and changing size.
    I'm not spending any more money on gel blasters till we get airsoft guns here they are far superior and less hassel, I own some in NZ that I can fly in and play with there.
    Since SA requires registration of gel blasters we should at least have them firing actual pellets, my money is going back into actual firearms which honestly barely cost any extra given the prices of some of these blasters now, granted they are different use case.

    Such a missed opportunity, could have had the power for the mag be a mock belt of 5.56, and had it so you loft the top cover, put the belt in the feed tray to connect the power for the mag, then close the top cover locking it in place. Essentially simulating the real manual of arms

      I agree. there is nothing stopping someone from doing that though. it would be easy to 3D print an adaptor plate and re route the wiring.

    Thanks for taking the time to review, seems it is another blaster to avoid. Unfortunately in this hobby, purchases based on 'something different' often work against you. Anyone wanting something easy to maintain and work on would be best placed sticking with the standard M4-style platform (V2 boxes). V3s are also fine (your AK variants), though they can be trickier to disassemble/reassemble.
    It would not surprise me if those were Ausgel Ultra Elites jammed in the 249 mag, given they are the most consistently oversized, useless gels on the market.

    Recently firecow passed this product to another company to make the second batch. I tried the drum mag of the new batch, it shoots very smooth even when the drum is only 10% full.

    I got super excited when I saw you did a video on this blaster! There's a myriad of internal issues unfortunately you didn't touch on, hopefully you get an opportunity to work on another one soon.

      If you tell me what some of the issues are I can take another look. I was mostly focused on the feeding issues. I didn't even look at the cylinder head or anything.

    I still have problems with my Firecow. I went in an upgraded the internals and decided to upgrade the nozzle. Me being stupid, threw out the stock nozzle. Now I have heaps of air leak issues and needed a m130 spring just to get about 180fps. Any ideas on how I could remedy that?

      Put the old nozzle on...

      As you've found out it's always a good idea to retain all parts just in case. It is amazing how inconsistent these products are. Stock parts may even outperform aftermarket in some instances. Hopefully the retailer you purchased from can source another - the aftermerket is too loose?

    • @Panda-xh2gl
      @Panda-xh2gl Год назад

      @@TheGutshotpro there’s such a limited number of these things that trying to source a stock part is almost impossible.

    • @TheGutshotpro
      @TheGutshotpro Год назад

      Thought that may be the case. Modification of the aftermarket nozzle may be the only way, as the M130 will likely break the gearbox shell in time. Perhaps a resin or other plastic/filler compound could be used and then drilled/sanded to suit? Bit of a nightmare but if there's no other option... @@Panda-xh2gl

      I am sure there will be an after market nozzle that will work. however I cannot tell you which one. you just need to shop around until you find one with the right dimensions.

    intredasting.
    kinda has given me a bit of a chub in terms of that port will totally feed a normal m4 mag with some fuckery
