Hi Christie!! We are glad the seated workout works well for you!! Thanks for sharing that you are exercising with us in the UK, it's always great to know where our participants are from!!
Hi friend, thanks so much for your comment and for giving this class another try!! It's always fun to come back to workouts for a second time isn't it?! See you again soon :)
I was able to stand through the whole workout!!Yay for me!! Loved standing and feeling improved balance in my movements and less stiffness!! Always a bright spot in my day Lauren and happy to see Garden!! Thank you both ❤️👍
Oh well done you Nancy!! How amazing!! And what a wonderful feeling to see and feel the improvements and benefits of all of your hard work!! Keep it up and know that we are always cheering you on from Austin!!
Was able to stand for the whole session. Still getting my right and left muddled up but if I don't overthink I'm ok. Great workout. Thanks to Lauren and Garden.
Anna, wonderful to hear your progress! It sounds like you are moving with an excellent attitude and that’s the most important thing. Hope to hear more as you find other videos you enjoy💙
5 ⭐️ We are VERY BLESSED to have these Specific and Dynamic workouts! And a new one each week! 📆 We can document how much these exercises reduce Parkinson’s physical symptoms And cognitive symptoms, too. Thank You. THANK YOU! 💕 Chuck and Karon
Chuck and Karon, your positivity inspires us to keep creating new and fun content. We are so happy to hear how beneficial you’re finding our classes. Great to have you as regular participants 😍💙💖
I really like this workout. I started out sitting, and I alternated sitting and standing. It was a challenge, but I felt like I needed to do it. Felt very weak at first, and got stronger as we went along. I had a smile on my face doing the have Jack’s and the pattern is a lot of fun for me. Thank you Lauren for all you do and for Garden.
Hi Vicki!! Great to hear from you and learn about your experiences with this class!! How wonderful that you felt stronger as the class went along. Hooray!!! And picturing you with a smile on your face while you were exercising is absolutely amazing!!
Lauren, you are innovative, no question. Thanks a lot. I did warm up sitting. The rest standing. All was fun though the "opposite" part I did comme ci, comme ca. As to pattern ......
Lauren your commitment to help out shines thru. Beneficial especially once you learn to mirror and react in a nanosecond. I just know I’ll be doing the pattern in the middle of the night
Marcel, thanks for validating Lauren's work. She has honed her skills over the years to really target PD symptoms in a unique way. Congrats on getting the pattern down!!!
YAAAAY! Fantastic workout Lauren! 🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️👏👏👏 I was in and out of it... sometimes sitting, sometimes standing but I made it to the end. 😅😅😅 It was fun challenging myself. I feel good! Thanks 👍
Esther - I can always count on you to boost my ego and say something positive. Thank you for your enthusiasm. I am really happy you enjoyed this video and I love that you did some of it seated and some standing. Thats a smart, safe and great way of doing it. As you complete this video a few more times this week you may find you will get better and stronger and may be able to do more and more of it standing....Let me know.
Great Esther!! It sounds like you had a great time with this class - that makes us so happy. Good on you for challenging yourself in both sitting and standing!!
Thank you very much, Lauren for this great and challenging exercise! I was able to get to the end, but with some difficulties remembering all the movements and the orders in which they come.
Giving your best effort is the key which you clearly do! As your brain is trying to make sense of these complex movements you are making new neural connections. Don't get discouraged. You are doing great!!!
This was a definite challenge. I stood for everything (My challenge to myself)! So much to keep track of! Tempo, Direction, Memorization, Opposites, Balance. It had it all. I definitely lost it a couple times! I will be trying again to conquer this one!! Fun! Fun! Fun! Thanks Lauren & Garden!😅
Great Job Eric!!!! This one makes you think and move in a variety of directions which can really throw off your center of gravity and make balance a challenge. Good for you for being able to stay with it and stay standing. Do you do the YOPD videos? I think you would really like those too. Keep at your own pace - stop the video when needed or take a break and then continue. I think it is a class you would really like. Let me know
@@laurenlewis6969 YES! I do and have done the YOPD videos. Those are some of my favorites! That is actually where I started when I first fofund the PFP channel! I wish it was more frequent than once a month!
Wow, this class had it all didn't it Eric!! Good on you for doing the whole thing standing, that's incredible!! And we encourage you to go back into our YOPD archives as well as we have quite a large collection for you to explore. More fun content to come soon!!
Thank you Danita. I had a lot of fun with this one. There is a lot to work on and to learn but I think the music is motivating (fun memories of dancing to this in my youth) which kept me on it. Thank you so much for your input and comments.
I did it!!!! Went wrong once or twice when it changes to opposites, all of a sudden. But that's the best part of it!! Am going to do it again!! Love the speed! Thank you Lauren! ❣💯
@@anaghanig YAY for you Anagha! Going the wrong way is fine - it's all part of learning and forcing the brain and body to move. I love that you challenged yourself and were able to just enjoy without getting frustrated with some mistakes. I make mistakes all the time - that's the process of learning. Good for you!
Great session - although it frazzeled my brain at times! It was really good for me as my balance and gait are the things that PD has affected most over recent years. I felt energised at the end. Many thank Lauren and Garden. Paula and Jon
Balance and gait are often the first signs people recognize of Parkinson's. It is important to work to improve these to stay safe, fit and mobile . I am glad you found it helpful and fun. Thank you for your comments and keep up the good work

Hi Danita! Thanks for joining today's class. Great question. This class: ruclips.net/video/QKti-uifWOw/видео.html is an excellent one to try when working on strengthening feet and toes. Save and bookmark this link to keep practicing! Goodluck! You got this. Sending a virtual hug your way! Best, Garden
I KNOW!!! Did you do it seated or standing? Both will challenge you but in slightly different ways. I think the shifting weight is a very effective and safe way of working on balance and much more functional than practicing standing on one foot. What part did you enjoy the best - what was most challenging?
Hi, Tina!! Go at the pace your body is comfortable with. You can always re-watch this video in the future and gradually work up to increasing your speed with time.
Tina - your right - this was a bit faster than most of my videos. I thought it would be a nice challenge to force that speed - counteracting Bradykinesia. If this is too fast for you try not to do as many repetitions or just do each section on its own. Stop the video and just work on one exercise at a time. There is plenty of benefit to be gotten by just doing each exercise independently without adding on or starting from the beginning. Good luck - let me know if that helps.
I love the tempo of this class and the music……AND the jacks! Ok…I love it all.
Haha!! Hooray!! That is what we like to hear Sandra!!
