It seems like Tamashii puts more effort into the SHF line sadly. They are like "Yeah whatever" with the SHMA line.
I have a feeling that they're just gonna re-release this figure as The Terror of Mechagodzilla version with a swap-able headpiece and the eye beam.

Steven, did you know that shoulder joint part that is in the socket? It’s actually a little scooper thing that helps get the rings out.

Of all the sh monsterarts that have come out. Which one would you recommend buying. I'm trying to decide
Wow those arm pieces possibly getting stuck inside... smh. Their G2017 has a similar thing with the left arm shoulder piece. These are issues that are just laziness on their part. In their rush to get them out they lose the chance to really fix potential problems. I'm sure this one will be reissued many times in the future, with different effect parts/paint apps so that you need to buy 3 or 4 before you finally get a decent one haha!
I’m starting to suspect they do things like this so they can do the repaint or reissue with all the problems fixed. Tho this figure is more likely to get an MG 75 retool, which I’m down for

Sonorous McCain That might be true, but given Figuart's track record with Ultraman (they've made more Kaiju and alien figures than Ultra Act ever did) and the fact that aside from tying into whatever the franchise's most recent installment is have remained Showa faithful, I think they could handle Godzilla well. If I had to predict, 54, Shin, and Monster Planet Goji would be at the top of their list.

Hm.interesting.I feel like the Eye Beam would have been more...I don't know,Popular?the chest beam is cool and all,it just isn't as great as the eye beams.If they added the Finger shooting affect that would've been cool too.

I would order this but that neck ruins it for me. It's too short and the perspective from the front looks awful. Guess I'll just stick to my lonely Super MechaGodzilla

Switch Board There are pros and cons when it comes to these.
Pro: Figure sells like hotcakes which sends bandai a message that there is demand for showa.
Con: If more figures in this quality sell then bandai finds it okay to lower the quality or if figure doesn't sell then bandai instantly reverts back to heisei repaints and anything that's new these days.

Steven's Toy Reviews probably the right choice. The paint is better than the original, but it could still be a lot better, and the QC issues are still plentiful.

Steven's Toy Reviews ok but the 4 you just mentioned have nothing to do with the Godzilla line of SHMA. I guess my question is..if you are displeased with the Godzilla portion of the line, why continue buying them? Why not just get the figures that are worthy of reviewing?
