Certainly isn't green there. Safe travels and God bless. That little town seems to bunched up. The town looked like it was bunched into 3or4 blocks. Hi Levi. 🙏🙏🐕🇺🇸🇺🇸👋
My grandfather John Glenn worked at Owens glass, Uncle Jim Glenn worked at Thatcher's Glass. With i lived there it had 16th, in late 70s. It turned to shit, heroin and meth. The glass factory shut down in the late 80s, now it makes air bags, and not of those. It's a dive. Breaks my heart. M. IL
He is actually going to owens in this video. Which is the glass bottle plant u are talking about. It did use to hold the record for the largest glass factory in the world at one point.
@@abovethelanesyou actually were heading to owens in this video. You must have been delivering them something. Owens is the glass factory that they are mentioning in this comment. The biggest glass factory in the world at one point. It is still open. Opened in the 1880s maybe even earlier.
Grew up here. Brings lots of memories. Left in the early 90's, joined the Army and never went back except a few times to visit parents. Its one of those towns that is slowly losing population. Every year, less and less people. Was around 14k when I lived there. Now it's around 12k. We used to joke...lots of churches and lots of bars....nothing else really
I live there and crime has gotten real bad shootings stealing some dumb ass punks stole a dirt bike out of my yard. Can what to move getting ready to sell my house and leave.
Just realized this was only 6 hours ago.. have fun in my hometown!
