Thanks for making video, just came back after 20 years. I got my magery to 100 went out to farm and got 2 shot immediately by the first caster I ran into. What's making you so tanky? Is all that dmg reduction from parry? Dont see anyone running magic resist anymore.

High aspect tier and damage resistance bonuses from codexes and skills. It takes time to build up. If you don't have aspect unlocked yet it can be rough to start.

@@Jolanar_Raj Yeah, using summons to tank for me ATM get almost 1 shot if I get aggro....thinking about just going earth or something cheap AF till I can farm codex ect

Nice vid. Try out blood armor and stick the extra pts of stats you get from mana into dex for more swings. That will give you more chances for mana. Try 100 Str 80 Dex 40 Int. Also consider 10 x spell aspect proc chance links (rest 10x slayer, 10x spell charged). These steps worked for me.

Blood is definitely on my list of aspects. I'm just really close to getting rank 15 in eldritch so been pushing for that. 80dex and 40 int seems intense though! might try 80 int and 40 dex first.

@@Jolanar_Raj It might seem counterintuitive. I tested it for hours on testserver before using it on live. Of course I have T14 blood, so keep that in mind. Whatever the Tier is you want to end up with 100 Str 80-90 Mana and as much Dex as possible for more swings. That is why i also keep 80 Focus.
      120 Incription
      100 Eval
      100 Magery
80 Alchy or Armslore (Armslore sounds nuts, but you can use Seek more often which I recommend over Leyline especially after proc for even faster pewpew and hence chances for mana)
      80 Parry
      80 Arcane
      80 Wrestle
80 Focus (for even more swingspeed)
Another thing you can consider is using Arcane Crystals when farming if you are VERY rich (even though arcane cores prices dropped hard, making it more affordable) but definetly on Boss or Omni fights. On Omni you might even want to bring an Arcane Phylactery to "ease" into the mana loop. Oh, and maybe add a cooldown on your screen for the 30s of Mana Thief.
All this sounds a bit crazy but try it out on test. Especially on tougher mobs like in the Wilderness. The reason why you did not notice much is because you were fighting mostly dungeon mobs, which tend to be weaker. The real drama of the changes will hit you on a boss fight or any fight that requires you to cast for a longer time.
      Links:
      10 x spell aspect chance
      10 x slayer
      8 x spell charged
2 x spirit (for 125 Scribe and FS Scroll casting)
      Good luck!

How do you feel about this update that came this past week. More or less double monster HP and buff their damage 20-30% as well.

Good for established characters but pretty awful for new characters.

@@Jolanar_Raj yeah, it takes forever for my new guy to kill anything and the 'extra' loot they drop does not make up for it
