Great video, I have been fortunate to do that on lake St Clair in Michigan and it is a hoot. The sky was black with ducks, you have to see it to believe it. Congrats on the limit of ducks.
@@fishhuntforever lol maybe camera angle they looked both the same size.....we live on lake Vermilion few boats or tri tunes actually with dual motors on the lake...
Oh we'll take Mallards or Snow Geese in a dry corn field or sheet water any day of the week ;) but layout boats are a super fun way to have one heck of a diver hunt! Have you been doing any layout hunting this season?

Great hunt boys. Cool way to hunt ducks. How far away did the pontoon boat need to be not bust you guys ?
It wasn’t too far away on this hunt since it was so foggy, but I suppose a couple hundred yards. Close enough that they could see if we hit anything.

It's one main motor and then one kicker. Either a 9.9 or a 15 hp I believe.

F Minnesota. Only allow layout hunting on 4 bodies of water. Land of 10,000 lakes and you can only open water hunt 4.
