- Crash Boom Bang!, known in Japan as Crash Bandicoot Festival, is a party video game developed by Dimps and published by Vivendi Universal Games for the Nintendo DS. It was released in Japan in July 2006, North America and Europe in October 2006 and Australia in November 2006; the international releases were published under the Sierra Entertainment brand.
Crash Boom Bang! is the first Crash game to be released for the Nintendo DS, and the second party game of the series, after Crash Bash. The game's story centers on a multi-millionaire who uses the characters of the series to unearth a powerful object dubbed the "Super Big Power Crystal". The game was met with largely negative reviews for having unoriginal, dull gameplay and poor controls.

Hope you tackle soon enough the Titans games.
Oh boy I can't wait for the MASSIVE rant about the mechanics of the party mode
Edit: There was no rant🙁
After so many days, Crash Bandicoot Retrospective is back! Enjoy!
It is quite interesting how the game was developed by Dimps. Who is best known for making the Sonic Advanced line of games and the DragonBall Z Budokai games.
Its crazy how far Dimps fell after the Rush games
Probably the most in-depth look I've seen for this game despite the short run time, most people barely explain anything of what happens in it. I think you're being a bit generous calling the Pinstripe design "fine", he's pretty animetized too. All the character designs are terrible.
It's between this and the Spyro crossover games for worst Crash title.
Legitimately
How do you go from making Sonic Rush to this
RIGHT?!
Alongside DragonBall Z Budokai.
Why all the hate on Crash Bash? I love that game
After playing it recently, I really can't say I like it
Yes it is a good game. We never managed to get the 201% with my brother but we spent days playing it back then.
Maybe OP played it alone and was bad at it or something.
All the crash on ps1 were master pieces in my opinion.
@@GameControllerNetwork I mean I understand that the game is very hard, that's a fair point. I still haven't beaten it in over 20 years (though I admit I might not be the best player either but the game is really brutal and grindy) 😅 But hard does not equal bad, and if you just wanna have an evening of fun with some friends in multiplayer mode I think it's actually a very fun and chaotic game (the bad controls on the racing minigame just adds to the insanity for example lmao), or the anxiety inducing claustrophobia of the tank minigame that is just hilarious xD It's not always about winning or playing good or even about "good game design", sometimes it's just fun to mess around and watch the madness happen when nobody knows wth is going on 🤣 Like watching "The Room" 😂 As long as it's entertaining I could not care less if it's not considered a well made or "correctly" made film in an objective or technical sense. Art is subjective and in the end we all just wanna have fun. Awesome video nonetheless! ☺️
@@GameControllerNetwork To each their own 😁👍🏼
@@GameControllerNetwork After hearing what Caddicarus said about how long it takes to complete Crash Bash, I would take Crash Boom Bang over that, since this game is much more forgiving in giving you a casual experience.
Not to mention, given what Caddicarus said about Crash Bash’s minigame lineup, I’d argue that Crash Boom Bang has more minigames than Crash Bash.
