Hello! I have a question. I come from SPSS and i forgot to do exploration before i did a t-test (as in SPSS i can only reach t-test only after descriptives). So now im wondering. What does the t-test without exploration mean ? I thought it doesnt do anything as i didnt know other softwares as jamovi have the option to NOT run it. Because i had different p-values when i did exploration and when i didn't. Why doesnt SPSS let me do it without descriptive statistics first? What does concretely exploration mean ? Does it get rid of outliers ? What formula does it run ?
