Rory (God rest his soul) was a pardox: a pioneer and traditionalist, with a voice that could be as pure one minute, then as gritty as the most gravelled bluesman. His guitar was UNSTOPPABLE... probably the most melodic style of blues I've ever heard... he had a great heart - I really miss him, but I know he's wailing away in the heavenly choir.
@MedeaTor Ah sorry I missed you! I WAS in Cork a few months ago, and am planning to go back for next year, hang out in the Blues clubs for a bit. Love the place.
