Sorry to tell you but bees will draw comb between the end of the frames and the front or back. removing the frame will destroy it each time. Designing for bee space is very important. Replace the 1/2" frame rest with a full lengh piece of ply. Love the videos.
@GLuft3 Thanks for the sub we really appreciate you ! the dems for the NUCS are as follows TOPS: 11" X 22 1/2" - BOTTOMS 7 1/2 " X 20" - SIDES 11" X 20" BACK 11" X 9" FRONT 9 1/2" X 7 1/2 "
Regarding what Ian said, I'm not convinced that the bees will build in the extra space at the ends. Mine sometimes don't go all the way to the frame on the foundationless frames I use. Guess we will know soon enough.
Looks like a nice box to me, I like the stencil to put you name on them.👍👍👍👍

Nice design on the stop blocks on the lid. I had thought of using small blocks for frame hangers but didn't know if they would hold up.
Good simple design, looks like it should work well.
Still going strong !!!!
Well done! Valuable, hands-on information.Thanks for sharing this and God bless, Miles
