    My Grandfather was a Mining Engineer. He worked on all four of these coal seams and the Red Mountain ore mines. I've been a land surveyor in Alabama for 47 years. I've trod near many of the same areas you show in your videos. We often used TCI survey maps and Republic survey maps as basis for our surveys. Thanks for posting these. I find it most interesting.

    My dad worked at Mulga mines until it closed in the early eighties.
    Fond memories of him bringing home Palmolive bar soap on payday Fridays. I didn't know there was another brand of soap to shower with.

    Brilliant, man. Absolutely top-notch! My only suggestion would be to slow it down 50% or so for your appreciators who may not (ahem) see or read so fast anymore. But keep on. You’re piling up fans

    Do you have any info on Potter Mines in the outskirts of west part of Bessemer.
