It's not a cover of Baby Fuzz. He and some others wrote this. It was, so I understand to anyone who wanted to perform this. Angelina recorded this demo. I just got shelved. Baby Fuzz decided to release this just a tad over 2yrs ago. Someone released this at the same time. No one knows who. It would have been a good breakout song, but she wasn't signed to any recording studio, Fuzz was. And her parents weren't going to allow that at her age. I think this had been behind the shelving of this song. It was not her property. This is an industry about $$$. I understand Fuzz eventually did hear her version & was kind enough not to have her version blocked (he liked it). Legally he could have had it removed. I've heard his version (the laugh is he did a cover of his own song), it's ok. He's got a good voice himself, but it gets overshadowed by all the extras he throws in. His voice isn't strong enough to balance the background vocals he throws in this piece.
Harri-I have listened to music for a long time. I was a DJ in college. I have not heard a singer who connects so directly to people’s emotions like her. Many singers have songs here and there that connect to emotions deeply. But the sheer volume Angelina has already produced so far is astounding. She masters an unbelievable diversity of styles and in each style she pulls the most incredible feelings out of listeners. She interprets songs in brilliant manners well beyond her years. Keep listening to her catalogue. She doesn’t need to dance or move around a lot on stage. It would only distract from her voice. The smallest hand movements and changes of expression add to her performances. She is music in its highest level of being.

It truly helped me understand why her mother put a stop or a hold on her singing it. .. although now that it's been out and we've all loved it it might happen that she'll get to do it again .. She is extremely quick at changing pitch at full volume, almost no gap between notes. Where other average singers might need 100 microseconds to change from an A3 to a C3 at full volume perfect pitch, and well trained and practiced singers can do it in 10 microseconds, which is noticeable even for amateur listeners, Angelina can do it in 2 or 3 microseconds, and it is noticeable even to my largely untrained musical sense. One of the abilities Angelina perfected while her brain was still at the malleable rapid-development stage re how tight to run the muscles holding the vocal chords to produce a specific note.
If angelina did ever sing this again it would be completely different. Her voice has evolved since this performance and I really don't know what Angelina would do with this now.

You can't really call this a cover of the Baby Fuzz version, since Angelina recorded this about a year before Baby Fuzz. The urban myth surrounding this song is crazy! Brandon Lowery, aka Sterling Fox, aka Baby Fuzz, was the primary writer of this song when he was attending a songwriting camp in Oslo. He tried, unsuccessfully to get someone to record it before finally decided to record it himself. At some point, while he was trying to get it recorded, someone got Angelina to record this as a demo. A lot of people seem to believe Angelina's family didn't like the lyrics, believing they referred to suicide. They really don't. And she did change the lyrics to eliminate the F-word, so she could have made other changes if they felt that was necessary. It's more likely a rights issue. Nice reaction, Harri. I don’t think that this song is a cover. Baby FuZZ cowrote this song in collaboration with 3 others. The song was shopped to several artists for possible recording. Angelina did a demo few days shy of her 11th birthday. For unknown reasons , the song was not released but later leaked by someone that had an access to the demo. When no artist seemed to be interested in recording it, Baby FuZZ recorded and released it not aware at the time of Angelina’s Demo. He only became aware of it when it was leaked. I think we can say that Baby FuZZ covered his own song. LOL. Baby FuZZ got lot of criticism and abuse on social platforms for the mistaken assumptions that he prevented Angelina from changing the lyrics. In an interview Baby FuZZ said that there were no discussion between him and Angelina’s team about releasing the song. He said that he supports young artists and liked Angelina’s version of the song. He threatened to block the video if he keeps receiving criticism and abuse. We are very thankful for Baby Fuzz for not blocking the video and supporting Angelina. You can't really call this a cover of the Baby Fuzz version, since Angelina recorded this about a year before Baby Fuzz. The urban myth surrounding this song is crazy! Brandon Lowery, aka Sterling Fox, aka Baby Fuzz, was the primary writer of this song when he was attending a songwriting camp in Oslo. He tried, unsuccessfully to get someone to record it before finally decided to record it himself. At some point, while he was trying to get it recorded, someone got Angelina to record this as a demo.
A lot of people seem to believe Angelina's family didn't like the lyrics, believing they referred to suicide. They really don't. And she did change the lyrics to eliminate the F-word, so she could have made other changes if they felt that was necessary. It's more likely a rights issue.

1 - The owner of this song is the lyric writer, Brandon Lowery, also known as Sterling Fox, also known as Baby Fuzz
2 - The demo was made right after the songwriting session, Brandon Lowery met Angelina at the house of one of the song's co-writers.
3 - The demo leaked just before Brandon Lowery released the song with another arrangement himself, revealing the other co-writers' contrary opinion, hoping to release it with Angelina, and changing the lyrics on the problematic part was the right thing to do. .
4 - The last part of the song promotes suicide, in the mold of John's baptism, by drowning in a river, a really problematic lyric that does not add support from any record company or singer.
I don’t think that this song is a cover. Baby FuZZ cowrote this song in collaboration with 3 others. The song was shopped to several artists for possible recording. Angelina did a demo few days shy of her 11th birthday. For unknown reasons , the song was not released but later leaked by someone that had an access to the demo. When no artist seemed to be interested in recording it, Baby FuZZ recorded and released it not aware at the time of Angelina’s Demo. He only became aware of it when it was leaked.
I think we can say that Baby FuZZ covered his own song. LOL.
Baby FuZZ got lot of criticism and abuse on social platforms for the mistaken assumptions that he prevented Angelina from changing the lyrics. In an interview Baby FuZZ said that there were no discussion between him and Angelina’s team about releasing the song. He said that he supports young artists and liked Angelina’s version of the song. He threatened to block the video if he keeps receiving criticism and abuse.
We are very thankful for Baby Fuzz for not blocking the video and supporting Angelina.

I doubt this will be released on an album. I read a statement by Angelina that when she got a little older she found she didn't like the reference to suicide and said she didn't want to sing the song again or release it in an album.
Harri, I think she has all, the rights, to sing as beautifully as she does. I am still in amazement of her love, vocals and her pure heart.

I almost feel a little sad that I like this so much, as jazz is her wheelhouse, and she has so many incredible performances in that genre. But truth be told, every time she takes a step outside that circle, it ends up jawdroppingly good. She's even ventured into EDM at one stage, and THAT performance, too, is something to behold.
