(spoilers ahead… barely. It’s a one-off line and applies to Beast Boy in all media anyway) In a future episode, Cyborg says his chemical makeup has always been unstable, so maybe that plus depression and stress made him age an EXTRA twenty years.
I did hear that male patten baldness can start super early in guys as early as their 20s. Considering he has failed as a solo hero and got his butt kicked a lot i wouldnt doubt that he went bald in part due to stress.

Jason Todd is Red Hood, Tim Drake is Red Robin, Damian Wayne has yet to leave the Robin mantle but in the far future he does become Batman. Hey guys just to give you a little knowledge about the robins. There are several Robins but there are what I like to call the big 4, the main robins. 1st Robin aka Dick Grayson who was the first Robin. As he grew older him and Batman began to have conflicting views and so dick left Batman for awhile and in that time span he became nightwing. 2nd Robin Jason Todd who was kidnapped by the joker, tortured, then killed but was then resurrected due to reality warping shenanigans and became red hood someone who kills instead of incapacitates. 3rd Robin Tim Drake who was incredibly smart and was able to Deduce Batman and Robin’s (Dick Grayson) identity. Batman impressed with this made him the next Robin who eventually joined the newly reformed teen titans 4th Robin Damien who is the biological son of Batman. Talia Al Ghul (Ras Al Ghul’s daughter) drugged Batman and r worded him in order to produce the perfect assassin, but eventually he would go on to live with Batman who would reform him and teach Damien his own morals instead of what the league of assassins taught him.
They harp on about how they're not that old so it's weird they all look so old. But only Cyborg and Beast Boy look older than they are. Cyborg is trapped in a single building, basically a shut in, barely surviving. And Beast Boy, well he doesn't actually look OLD. He went bald and he got fat, that doesn't equate to OLD, he just fell WAY out of shape and is all miserable now. Robin, now Nightwing, was doing GREAT. As for Raven, well she's Raven. Their problem was more social, they were all alone now. Especially Raven. Not everyone stays in tip top shape as they age, just a FEW years can make a huge difference. Cyborg and BB stopped heroing and basically spiraled, so they're in very poor shape. Nightwing kept up hero work and is in great shape. Raven, again she's Raven.
Re-watching the series, I’m starting to realize even more how often Starfire vulnerabilities are targeted, and it’s so fucking sad 😢. I don’t know if the comics point this out, but just out of curiosity, is she the most innocent and kind-hearted being on Tamaran? ‘Cause I know Blackfire did some the horrendous shit to her in the comics, and even if Teen Titans or Teen Titans GO! doesn’t adhere to those moments, it’s still amazing how Starfire can find some happiness.
Based on the origin episode, plus the backstory we hear, it sounds like she may have had a big heart among her people, but eventually that got stamped out due to circumstances, and she grew up pretty ruthless. When she met the Titans, it encouraged her to try being nice to others again.
Starfire is far from innocent in her original version.. she was a slave all her childhood getting sold to different Aliens This Starfire is very different from the original The original operates more on extreme emotion like openness to love and anger which translate to sex positive person and willing to kill without remorse
From what I've read she's pretty bloodthirsty and always kinda ready to kill villains. Lol but she's still kind, just has a temper. Comics Starfire would definitely have tried killing Blackfire though I think they've made up. Honestly it's kinda funny and crazy hearing people go from the show to comics and seeing how different they are.

Dick Grayson, the first Robin, was the only one who became Nightwing. After many years of being Batman's sidekick, he got tired of living in Batman's shadow, and struck out on his own, becoming Nightwing.
And thus begins the new format layout, It's not so bad. Also, anyone else realizing that we are getting a teen titans episode reaction on a Friday instead of Saturday?
Aging works different for everyone. Case in point: I'm 36. The January after I turned 30, my body decided I should be as decrepit and busted as possible. I also know people younger than me who have already gone bald, so... As for Robins, it's a little complicated. The Teen Titans Robin we see is Dick Grayson. When it comes to Robin being Nightwing there are different variations of how it comes about but here's the gist of the story that I grew up with. Dick Grayson the Robin we follow in Teen Titans is Batman's first Robin. Robin has a falling out with Batman and goes solo due to not believing in the way Bruce fights crime. Eventually, he runs into the rest of the Titans and they form a team. During this time Batman who is fighting crime solo runs into Jason Todd trying to steal the wheels off the Batmobile and eventually takes him on as his second Robin. So for a while, there were two Robins the original leading the Titans and one in Gotham fighting alongside Batman. Time goes by and Jason is eventually captured by the Joker who psychologically tortures him and eventually beats him to death with a crowbar. After the original Titans break up or something Dick goes back to fighting crime with Bruce. Eventually, they have another falling out and Dick goes solo once more. Realizing he'll never escape Batman's shadow as Robin he drops the mantle completely and becomes the original Nightwing. Again this is just the gist of the story I grew up with following the DC animated universe back in the late '90s and early 2000s. Not sure how closely it follows the original source material ie the comics or how it has changed over the years. Oh and as for the Titans' ages, they have no set ages but supposedly one of the creators said if they had to give them an age Cyborg would be 18, Robin and Raven would be 16, Beast Boy 14, and Starfire is hundreds of years old but is a teen by her peoples physiology.
Dick Grayson, the first Robin leaves on his own and becomes nightwing Jason Todd dies, resurrects becomes red hood Tim drake grows up and become red robin Etc
I love the Every Dog Has Its Day episode, but it also breaks my heart, like, all Beast Boy wanted was a little love and attention, if not from his friends than at least from someone, anyone in Jump City, but he kept getting rejected and turned away at every turn until he gets kidnapped and tortured (also, my guess for how he managed to get the collar off in the end is that he might've turned into a slug or a hagfish or something like that, something that's both squishy and slimey and boneless enough for him to be able to squeeze and slip out of the collar even as it adjusts to his size and shape, either that or perhaps something extremely tiny like we'll see him do in another episode eventually, I'm sure the collar has like a minimum size it can shrink to)
I think the main reason that Beast Boy aged so quick was because there aren't a lot of animals in general that live longer than 30 years. At least from what i can presume, only turning into animals like tigers, lions, mammals, dinos, has some repercussions on his lifespan. I mean he would be a lot younger looking if he only turned into a Greenland shark (Longest living animal) versus a lion which he does a lot (lifespan of 10 years male). And cyborg's body has probably had a lot of trouble keeping up with an obsolete robot form, im surprised it hasn't started rotting.
The first Robin left Batman in the 1980s to be a full-time Titan. He then became Nightwing and became the hero of Bludhaven. He was only Batman during the time Bruce Wayne was presumed dead.
Beast Boys hairline seems hilarious until you realize how realistic it is. My hair was starting to fall out at 16. It was gone by 20. Im not even as old as Beast Boy is here and I arguably look worse if I had green skin. Im just lucky I can grow a beard. It looks much less sad that way.
I wouldn't really recommend Young Justice personally. Mostly because it never really got finished, and it's clear they don't really know alot about DC. I remember watching it for the first time before I really got into DC, and it was mostly sitting in front of my TV like "Who are they, and what the hell is happening"?
Hey Ruff and team, If you really want to know more about Batman and his history with Robin, I highly recommend watching the animated movie, " Batman: Under the Red Hood". Its AMAZING!
Interesting "DAE the passage of time?", How Long Is Forever originally aired in January of 2004. The time jump is twenty years. So if you assume in universe time is roughly equivalent to air date, Starfire jumped forward to about a month from today's present date
I know these episodes are recorded in advance, they probably know all this stuff now, and it will probably never be relevant for teen titans again, but here's some Robin lore anyways: The main 5 Robins are Dick Greyson - Becomes Nightwing (He's the Robin in Teen Titans) Jason Todd - Becomes Red Hood Tim Drake - Becomes Red Robin Stephanie Brown - Becomes Batgirl, then later The Spoiler Damien Wayne - Current Robin There's also the less mentioned Robins, Carrie Kelley - Becomes Catgirl We are Robin - a group of Robins? Idk, I've never read the comics. Most notable member is Duke Thomas, but there's also Dax, Isabella, Troy, Riko, and Andre.
In the comics when the first robin, dick Grayson, has a falling out with batman he becomes nightwing, naming himself having a old kryptonian hero superman tells him about. Meanwhile batman meets a kid living on the streets named Jason Todd, who convinces batman to make him the new Robin.
Fun fact, 'Robin' was what Dick Grayson's mother called him. Hence, the contentious way Bruce removes Robin from Dick and 'giving it' to Jason is such a massive slap in the face, one of the last few things Dick has of his own family taken from him without his say so. Also, there's a long history of the Robin mantle never passed on properly. Dick was essentially fired and kicked out of Gotham by Bruce and Robin was taken from him and given to Jason Todd. Jason Todd died, and Tim Drake took on the mantle to save Bruce and Dick from Two-Face. When Batman 'died' after the fight with Darkseid, Dick steps up to become Batman and he then gives the Robin mantle to Damian Wayne without Tim's say so (a la doing to Tim what Bruce did to Dick) - which is a major factor in Tim leaving Gotham and finding Bruce in the timeline with the 'help' of Ra's al Ghul, and then taking on the name 'Red Robin' after (curiously, a title that Jason Todd also used to hold). Stephanie Brown was given the mantle by Batman after Tim temporarily quit, she later on 'died' and came back into the mantle of Batgirl c/o Barbara Gordon. All of this is Pre-N52/Post-Crisis canon and falls into the material before Flashpoint. Many of the adaptations take stuff from this canon since it's arguably the most well-know mythos of the Batfam.
Robin 1 is Dick Greyson, he becomes Nightwing Robin 2 is usually Jason Todd, who becomes Red Hood Robin 3 is Tim Drake, who is sometimes Robin 2 rather than 3, becomes Red Robin Robin 4 is Damian Wayne who becomes either the second to take on the mantle of Nightwing, or becomes Red Bird, or Batman.
i love the fact that not only are there companies making villain themed merchandise, but the Teen Titans have purchased it....i seriously don't believe Bruce Wayne wakes up to a Joker alarm clock, of course maybe it's like an "arts and crafts" project for de-stressing, i could see some superhero making model kits of his own Rogue's Gallery....it seems like a Flash thing to do
Grayson og Robin after hitting 20s become Nightwing and Grayson is TT's Robin, for Batman jason and Tim become next Robins respectively while Grayson goes solo (still in good terms and occasionally helping out), OG TT is aprt of DCAU tat featured Batman TAS, Superman TAS and JLA and based on Detective Comics so thats that, in canon Grayson does become Nightwing and here he is in his 30s.
Nightwing is the result of Dick Grayson Robin, becoming his own hero, and now protector of his own city called, "Bludhaven". Sometimes he and Batman have family related issues.
Plz watch Young Justice after this. Its an alt universe from this one but its and it deals with the….. Young Justice Leaguers. You dont even need too much knowledge of DC. If you do its great but doesn’t matter. Its a great show (in my opinion)
Nightwing is Dick Grayson the first Robin. Basically he got fed up with Batman always showing no compassion and always only commenting on mistakes. So he decided to leave and go on his own changing his name to Nightwing. The second Robin was Jason Todd who was more violent than Dick. Eventually he got captured by the Joker and beaten for days/weeks with a crowbar. The comics let people call in to vote if he would live or die, he was then killed by the Joker blowing the warehouse up he was in. There is a conspiracy theory that someone had set their phone up to spam call the vote to kill him. After he died he was resurrected in the Lazarus Pit and became Red Hood. As Red Hood he kills villains seeing Batman as being too soft and claims that all Batman does is put them in jail where they escape and kill more people, with him they never hurt anyone else again. The Third Batman is Tim Drake and sadly I don’t know much about him. The Fourth Robin is Damien Wayne who is Bruce’s son with Talia al Ghul. His early childhood was with the League of Assassins/Shadows. Damien is very aggressive and has an assassins mindset. Batman has to keep reigning him in and Damien is almost always angry and yelling at Batman.
The dark future features a couple aesthetic trappings from the Dark Knight comic. Like the mutant punks who probably need their teeth kicked in. Not details I want to see in their future given how bleak and nasty the world had become in that story. I mean, this is bleak, but the Dark Knight was grisly and morose. Edit: oh, and all that snow... yeah... that was also in the comic in its later chapters. From a Soviet WMD called Coldbringer.
Considering how much stress Beast Boy must've gone through trying to become a solo-hero after losing his friends and getting his butt kicked all the time before becoming a circus attraction to try and feel SAVE in his little cage only to get bullied through the bars like that there as well, I'm not surprised that he ended up practically bald at 34 X'D

Oh and as for the Titans' ages, they have no set ages but supposedly one of the creators said if they had to give them an age Cyborg would be 18, Robin and Raven would be 16, Beast Boy 14, and Starfire is hundreds of years old but is a teen by her peoples physiology.
Dick Grayson, the first Robin leaves on his own and becomes nightwing
Jason Todd dies, resurrects becomes red hood
Tim drake grows up and become red robin
Etc
Love the new editing and previews
This new edititing style is crazyyyy
Ok you say it’s “pure comedy”, and that implies it’s funny.
It’s that’s the first Robin. His name is Dick Grayson. is the first Robin and he becomes Nightwing in the second Robin is Jason Todd
the first robin became nightwing.
the second became red hood.
the third became red robin.
and right now the 4th is still robin.
Damian is the 5th. The 4th Robin is Stephanie Brown
23:12 imma just leave this here.
Pterodactyls aren't dinosaurs
I love the Every Dog Has Its Day episode, but it also breaks my heart, like, all Beast Boy wanted was a little love and attention, if not from his friends than at least from someone, anyone in Jump City, but he kept getting rejected and turned away at every turn until he gets kidnapped and tortured
(also, my guess for how he managed to get the collar off in the end is that he might've turned into a slug or a hagfish or something like that, something that's both squishy and slimey and boneless enough for him to be able to squeeze and slip out of the collar even as it adjusts to his size and shape, either that or perhaps something extremely tiny like we'll see him do in another episode eventually, I'm sure the collar has like a minimum size it can shrink to)
7:29 just what happens when time passes
Season 2 has one of the craziest arcs of Teen Titans, get ready.
Nightwing is the only dude titan that actually looks 35-ish XD
The reason why they made Cyborg look like that is because his face is the only human skin he has so they had to make him look physically old somehow 😊
17:58 😂😂
12:00 😂😂😭😭
The first Robin left Batman in the 1980s to be a full-time Titan. He then became Nightwing and became the hero of Bludhaven. He was only Batman during the time Bruce Wayne was presumed dead.
Please keep doing Teen Titans! Loving it💜
Beast Boys hairline seems hilarious until you realize how realistic it is. My hair was starting to fall out at 16. It was gone by 20. Im not even as old as Beast Boy is here and I arguably look worse if I had green skin. Im just lucky I can grow a beard. It looks much less sad that way.
Considering how Superheroes often operate, the idea that the timeline is any kind of certain is laughable.
Dude, I wasn’t expecting this SO SOON, I was willing to wait till tomorrow but guess not 🤣, thanks for the early gift
If u want a dark dc cartoon watch young justice or batman beyond
I wouldn't really recommend Young Justice personally. Mostly because it never really got finished, and it's clear they don't really know alot about DC. I remember watching it for the first time before I really got into DC, and it was mostly sitting in front of my TV like "Who are they, and what the hell is happening"?
true thats fair@@DraconianBS
Hey Ruff and team,
If you really want to know more about Batman and his history with Robin, I highly recommend watching the animated movie, " Batman: Under the Red Hood". Its AMAZING!
i mean, i know someone who went bald at like 22
Cyborg is the oldest i believe. Maybe 18/19. Beast Boy aging so badly has been confirmed to be caused by stress.
This show was my first exposure to Nightwing and MAN did it make me like Nightwing.
Interesting "DAE the passage of time?", How Long Is Forever originally aired in January of 2004. The time jump is twenty years. So if you assume in universe time is roughly equivalent to air date, Starfire jumped forward to about a month from today's present date
I know these episodes are recorded in advance, they probably know all this stuff now, and it will probably never be relevant for teen titans again, but here's some Robin lore anyways:
The main 5 Robins are
Dick Greyson - Becomes Nightwing (He's the Robin in Teen Titans)
Jason Todd - Becomes Red Hood
Tim Drake - Becomes Red Robin
Stephanie Brown - Becomes Batgirl, then later The Spoiler
Damien Wayne - Current Robin
There's also the less mentioned Robins,
Carrie Kelley - Becomes Catgirl
We are Robin - a group of Robins? Idk, I've never read the comics. Most notable member is Duke Thomas, but there's also Dax, Isabella, Troy, Riko, and Andre.
In the comics when the first robin, dick Grayson, has a falling out with batman he becomes nightwing, naming himself having a old kryptonian hero superman tells him about. Meanwhile batman meets a kid living on the streets named Jason Todd, who convinces batman to make him the new Robin.
4:00 TT Go! most likely went on longer because it reached even younger audiences and was much cheaper to animate.
Bro be lookin like he gets blasted before the start of the episodes. I can practically see eric levitating.
Robin 1 is Dick Greyson, he becomes Nightwing
Robin 2 is usually Jason Todd, who becomes Red Hood
Robin 3 is Tim Drake, who is sometimes Robin 2 rather than 3, becomes Red Robin
Robin 4 is Damian Wayne who becomes either the second to take on the mantle of Nightwing, or becomes Red Bird, or Batman.
So there are 4 main robins, The one we're following in teen titans. Is Dick Grayson who becomes nightwing
Mullet/Long haired Nightwing is HIM!
I barely remember that second episode. I think I only caught it once.
The dog episode I remember
BTW who's this Billy? Billy from The Grim Adventures from Billy and Mandy?
I remember watching that episode thinking they were actually going to leave the planet. Boy was I glad when I saw the others.
i love the fact that not only are there companies making villain themed merchandise, but the Teen Titans have purchased it....i seriously don't believe Bruce Wayne wakes up to a Joker alarm clock, of course maybe it's like an "arts and crafts" project for de-stressing, i could see some superhero making model kits of his own Rogue's Gallery....it seems like a Flash thing to do
Huh, Starting-off Season 2 with a Time Travel Story, that’s one heck of a way start things off,
Hm, anyway, i wonder what was next?
Grayson og Robin after hitting 20s become Nightwing and Grayson is TT's Robin, for Batman jason and Tim become next Robins respectively while Grayson goes solo (still in good terms and occasionally helping out), OG TT is aprt of DCAU tat featured Batman TAS, Superman TAS and JLA and based on Detective Comics so thats that, in canon Grayson does become Nightwing and here he is in his 30s.
Hahaha! YES THE BEST EPISODE OD SEASON 2! Its Teen Titans version of TMNT SAINW
Nightwing is the result of Dick Grayson Robin, becoming his own hero, and now protector of his own city called, "Bludhaven". Sometimes he and Batman have family related issues.
Holy shit, 48? I wouldn't have guessed that. I thought you were in your mid to upper 30s and the others were upper 20s/low 30s or something.
Welp, you got me dammit
This video is missing from the Teen Titans playlist as of 2024 Feb. 18th, just thought you should know, in case you see this.
6:37 😂😂
