So, you also have a place with no competition. I have 15 thrift stores and 2 flea markets close by and ZERO competition on picking.
+Dennis Reynolds Very cool. I gotta say it is pretty competitive in the area at least now it is. I hardly ever get out to the flea markets but I have quite a few people who go out and find things and then bring them to me to buy.
Classic Contagious Gaming Yeah I don't like flea markets. I also hate goodwills. Most charge more for used shit than retail is brand new for the item.
How much are the glasses? They are pretty good quality.
I believe they were on sale for 129.99. They are normally 149.99. I've been really enjoying using them so far.
Yeah, I feel foolish and intrusive walking around with my camera, it's a cool idea, I will eventually invest in a pair I think.

Definitely and I've had people get angry as well when I tried to use my phone to record. The glasses are a sneaky way to do it and they don't have a clue hehe.

Absolutely. Sometimes I get home and see the disc isn't in nearly as good of shape as I thought. Early morning light can be tough sometimes.

We definitely have some decent flea markets in Florida. With the mild weather we have, it allows the flea markets to run pretty much all year. Although it's super hot during the summer.

+Classic Contagious Gaming I live like 5 minutes away from that flea market. I got a bunch of nice games there. Also I got a boat load of skittles in date and I'm selling them at school! I go to that flea market every weekend with my dad, I'm 14. It's called the fun land.

For video out in the wild I use my camera glasses from Spytec. When I do the other videos, I use my iPad.
I would have snagged that Lagoon =( and Silicon Valley. Nice snags overall!!!! I miss seeing that many games laid out on the tables at the flea market.

Nice pickups $2 a piece still some rare awesome people out there, as for me, im trying to buckle down collecting with complete or nothing too much loose stuff without instruction manuels, registration or additional paperwork, I can only understand this from very old cart games but newer generatiin disc? Do you wear a hat when you wear the glasses? I've been struggling to find a pair of video glasses that are good quality and don't have a super obvious lens in the middle.
+grecofabulous I'm not a fan of hats so unfortunately some people have seen the lens, but for most people they don't even know it's there.
Cool. Yeah I find that most people don't say anything. Hell I used to walk around with a Go Pro on my chest - doesn't get more obvious than that.

i would have picked up that Lagoon, pictured at 15:50. it gets a lot of flack for the awkward combat, but still holds my interest by being an action adventure rpg.
If I didn't have it already in my collection it definitely would have been coming home with me. I might still pick it up when I go back just for trade bait or sell to a fellow You Tuber.

In the beginning of this video, how many games did you have on the background? Literally.
I went to a fleamarket a few days ago. Its pure dvds, clothing, books & ALOT of plastic kids toys. I only found 1 broken xbox 360 & around 20 games (ps2 & older) in 1,5hours. I thought a ton of people would sell their old games & systems.

do you buy to collect or to resell? too bad you are passing up on so many other treasures. all you buy are games.
When this video was put out, it was only to collect but 3-4 months later I started setting up at the Big Top Flea Market. So now it's for both. Honestly when I go out to look for games it's mostly to collect as we get plenty of stuff to re-sell at the flea market with walk-ins.

Hehe i didn't pick many up. I do have a few at my booth at the other Flea market but you'd be surprised, I've sold 4-5 copies of Madden since I've been out there since April.

I've got a question, and I mean no offense by this:
but through all these video game youtube channels, there seems to be a similar dislike for "resellers". But, like yourself and all these youtube channels, you guys buy games and sell them, either at a store or not.
my question is this: what is the difference between a reseller and yourself, one who buys a game and sells it at a store/flea market location for profit?
Great question and I take no offense. I've been pretty lucky as I only get 1-3 dislikes on my normal videos. This one kinda took off and went pretty big. I'm sure it's for reselling as it's called. For me and my wife we treat this as a business. We have a business license. We also pay State & Federal taxes so nothing is under the table. Also when we buy stuff, I normally give around 50% value for the items, so I'm not getting a $100 game for $5. I hope most people realize I try not to cheat people. Good example, I found out that one of the common Atari 2600 games I got was a super rare game worth 500 - 700 dollars. I only paid 50 cents for it but because of that, the gentleman I bought it from actually works at the flea market and when it sells, I'll be giving him some of the profit for it to be fair. One thing also, when I made this video. We weren't selling yet and all the items I got from this video went straight into my collection. Hope that helps.

They are Spytec camera glasses. I got them on sale off Amazon for $130. I think they were normally $150.
dang i needed those yesterday! I got a sega cd, sega genesis model 2, game cube, n64. mortal kombat 1,2,3 and bubsy for snes for $11.25 at my local miracle hill. No one is ever gonna believe that!

how early do you get to the flea?
I always thought my local fleas were crappy with games or few and far between. I started going the last two weeks an hr earlier and found some gems.
It's very competitive in my area. I normally get to my local flea markets around 7:30am but some of the guys who go out and buy games and then sell to me arrive around 6:00 - 6:30.

where do you check the value of your games
We use Pricecharting.com. That will have links to Ebay, Amazon and if it's a newer game, Gamestop. It averages out the prices but if things don't look right, i use the links.

During the fall and winter in Florida they are great to walk out but they become almost unbearable during the summer.
There were some awesome games in there #1 being Warhawk Loved that game.
