I don’t know if people even know that they’re still active. I genuinely thought they had disbanded a year or two ago. They have a lot of potential, but it isn’t enough to make up for the lack of support from their company :/
Honestly, if everglow had more comebacks and advertized more they would fr get so mich recognition. They are so talented and have so much charisma when performing. I saw them at hallyupopfest in london with my sister and grandparents (who dont like girl groups) and even they were so impressed and mesmerized by everglow. They would make it so big.
The thing is that YueHua sucks at promoting... Everglow has excelent music from title-tracks to B-sides from debut until now, but they lack regular contact with fans: they only make youtube content when they are having a comeback.. as soon as the comeback season ends they desapear from youtube and you onle hear of them weeks after their new comeback... Everglow mostly focus on tours around the world... but in my opinion they should do more promoting in casual shows... Twice not only became famous cuz of their songs, they also did alot of casual content. And last thing is that Everglow hasn't made a full album since debut, and that sucks.... Sorry for my bad english.

- Everglow completed their Pulse & Heart tour by giving their last concert yesterday. Aisha was unable to attend due to health issues and even though most of the members were not feeling well they still tried their best and did a great job !.
I watch this M/V first at Stone Entertainment channel and I was nervous why the views did not even reach 1M. But then I read the comments that fans are focusing on Everglow's channel, what a relief. I promise that I'll keep coming back to stream this M/V.
I was a bit worried on yuehwa's execution of the song initially. love how they play with their voices and their lower registers all slay! loving this genre of EG!!!
This is different from their previous releases, but this dark concept fits them so well. The song has that satisfying calm tone, while it gives you chills. I think the MV is a masterpiece and their voices are amazing here, it fits especially Yiren and Onda.
@@hailieRobinson the main reason why they aren’t popular mainly in Korea is because their company is a Chinese entertainment company that branched out to Korea, because of this Koreans didn’t like everglow and barely posted articles about them and so on, but they did get more popular internationally. They also lost popularity because they usually take long breaks that are mostly a year long. One of the members Yiren took a break and went back to china to visit her family because she couldn’t see them due to the pandemic, and to also complete some of her academics. Which is one of the reasons for their hiatus. After their ‘Pirate’ release E:U decided to get plastic surgery on her face and usually a full healing process for that is about 1 to almost 2 years for the bloating and marks to fade away, and for the skin to fully heal. which is another reason why everglow had a long break. When you actually look into it they have long breaks because of personal reasons. But yes that’s why they aren’t that popular
@@hailieRobinson fellow youtubers explained it all, but I would add the sad Truth is they WERE very popular during their 3-4 first comebacks, and then they were mismanaged in a way that is still difficult to understand. Many groups were mismanaged, but Everglow might be the worst of them all. The fact that EU was brutally replaced as the leader without any explanation (something that usually never happens) and that she was obviously put on the side since (no rap, few lines, no dance breaks) tells you something didn't work backstage even then. My guess would be that EU acted as a true leader and complained too much about their treatment... And then, the group basically totally disappeared for 2 years (!) again without any official explanation. In the meantime, other groups emerged, like Le Sserafim or New Jeans, and Everglow obviously lost popularity, somehow they appear to be history now, some sort if a 3rd Gen group. This is an amazing waste. Honestly I was disappointed by Pirates and Slay, very generic comebacks, but Zombie slaps. It deserves a lot of success. Issue is, does quality really matters anymore? Status matters much more. In K-pop, if you're once seen as a nugu, it is very difficult to get out of it. And Everglow lost their status.
I can't get over how amazing this song is. That and the fact that we really get to hear every member's unique vocal color in their parts. I'm obsessed with the low tones
everglow music is very promising, imagine the diversity of the music having a darker and strong title track while the b-sides serves different kind of flavors, but still everglow girlies manage to pull off every genre given to them, the versatility is insane. This comeback is huge 10/10, no kpop girl group from this era can pull off this kind of genre, it really suited everglow, no wonder why producers love to make music for them, because everglow’s skill and whole theme is so interesting.
This is so them being completely different, I took me just 2 listens to realize this is them and they haven’t lost it, been here since debut and it’s incredible what they can pull out to the world

Everyone has their own music preferences so that can be a good or bad thing to different listeners, but when I say this is different…I mean it. This is a quite unique blend of instruments and the entire song has such a great structure, which can be really difficult to make. There for I have much respect for it and still stand by what I said.

I'm always impressed with how EVERGLOW manages to pull off different concepts and this time they took a darker song and completely slayed it. This is an amazing comeback and this girls deserve a lot more recognition because this is art!
- Everglow completed their Pulse & Heart tour by giving their last concert yesterday. Aisha was unable to attend due to health issues and even though most of the members were not feeling well they still tried their best and did a great job !.

This is different from their previous releases, but this dark concept fits them so well. The song has that satisfying calm tone, while it gives you chills. I think the MV is a masterpiece and their voices are amazing here, it fits especially Yiren and Onda.

@@hailieRobinson the main reason why they aren’t popular mainly in Korea is because their company is a Chinese entertainment company that branched out to Korea, because of this Koreans didn’t like everglow and barely posted articles about them and so on, but they did get more popular internationally. They also lost popularity because they usually take long breaks that are mostly a year long. One of the members Yiren took a break and went back to china to visit her family because she couldn’t see them due to the pandemic, and to also complete some of her academics. Which is one of the reasons for their hiatus. After their ‘Pirate’ release E:U decided to get plastic surgery on her face and usually a full healing process for that is about 1 to almost 2 years for the bloating and marks to fade away, and for the skin to fully heal. which is another reason why everglow had a long break. When you actually look into it they have long breaks because of personal reasons. But yes that’s why they aren’t that popular
@@hailieRobinson fellow youtubers explained it all, but I would add the sad Truth is they WERE very popular during their 3-4 first comebacks, and then they were mismanaged in a way that is still difficult to understand. Many groups were mismanaged, but Everglow might be the worst of them all. The fact that EU was brutally replaced as the leader without any explanation (something that usually never happens) and that she was obviously put on the side since (no rap, few lines, no dance breaks) tells you something didn't work backstage even then. My guess would be that EU acted as a true leader and complained too much about their treatment... And then, the group basically totally disappeared for 2 years (!) again without any official explanation. In the meantime, other groups emerged, like Le Sserafim or New Jeans, and Everglow obviously lost popularity, somehow they appear to be history now, some sort if a 3rd Gen group. This is an amazing waste. Honestly I was disappointed by Pirates and Slay, very generic comebacks, but Zombie slaps. It deserves a lot of success. Issue is, does quality really matters anymore? Status matters much more. In K-pop, if you're once seen as a nugu, it is very difficult to get out of it. And Everglow lost their status.

everglow music is very promising, imagine the diversity of the music having a darker and strong title track while the b-sides serves different kind of flavors, but still everglow girlies manage to pull off every genre given to them, the versatility is insane. This comeback is huge 10/10, no kpop girl group from this era can pull off this kind of genre, it really suited everglow, no wonder why producers love to make music for them, because everglow’s skill and whole theme is so interesting.

*E:U deserves better!* Better treatment by the company and she also deserves a better fandom tbh. Have the same energy you had for Onda and Yiren. I know this song is vocal based and doesn't have a rap but E:U doesn't even get a lot of lines in other songs where there are rap parts. Take a look at the overall line distribution of Everglow, there are enough videos about it. E:U is last by A MILE. She's the main rapper, the only member who participated in writing some of their songs and she's a decent vocalist, it's not like she can't hold a note. *Give E:U more lines and Forevers wake tf up!* ♥

@@lukemay1834 That’s not true. Non-professional artists and even many B-sides can be rushed, as a result making the whole song feel out of place. Everyone has their own music preferences so that can be a good or bad thing to different listeners, but when I say this is different…I mean it.
This is a quite unique blend of instruments and the entire song has such a great structure, which can be really difficult to make. There for I have much respect for it and still stand by what I said.
