One thing that is missed in this review is that the spring didn't get stuck. The red lock on the front stops the spring from moving, so you can actually lock in your phone securely. In other words, the red dial tightens the phone holder spring and the black one stops the holder from rotating.
All of those angles can be done on your tripod or selfie stick. The ball isn’t that critical. You still have to adjust the position for length on the Woohoto for portrait photos like the ST27. No advantage there. Aluminum lock knob on the ST 27. The Woohoto looks like it may be plastic. More accessory mounts on the ST and over all more robust billet aluminum construction. All things considered it comes down to you personal photo needs.
I have been looking at your video quite a few times now. You have done an Excellent job 👍🏻. I am Not well versed on much of anything, but now I feel like I actually learned a Lot here ! I think I'll go for the "Ulanzi" st-27, and a Ball Joint. (a reasonably priced Ball Joint - suggestions would be appreciated - the big one you included in the video, would be too expensive for me) My purpose is to attach my Phone, (a Pixel 6 Pro), to a Tripod. From what I've learned from you, The Ulanzi st-27, with a Ball Joint would be the superior way to go 🙂. I hope I got all the Terminology correct. If not, Please excuse. Indeed, Thank you 😊

The red button is to lock the spring. The spring is not stuck. You showed me that it has arcaswiss bottom. I am ordering now. Thank you.
Thank you for this! Just got the ulanzi in the mail. Good to know how important a ball mount can be!

All great points. Thanks for the thorough comparison and review!
The nilkin case looks similar to the one for the Redmi Note 10 pro. I wonder if the phones gave similar measurements?
What a great review - much appreciated! Thank you.
is this can be added on a tri-pod?
It has a built in Arca swiss mount, but you can also screw in any tripod plate to the bottom.
Can this connect to a mic boom arm?
If the boom arm has a 1/4 20 thread mount, yes.
Thank you 😊,
