Regarding the "5% chance to spawn resources at any block" schematics, I can confirm the following from play: 1. It CAN activate when blocks are destroyed by torpedo blast or seismic generator pulses, not just your mining beam 2. There are two types of blocks in each biome, one weaker and one tougher. The schematic makes weaker blocks spawn Cobalt regardless of biome, while tougher blocks spawn whichever resource is unique to the biome (e.g. Diamonds for the rock biome, or Hyper Cells for the blood biome)
I like large mines, if you look at the big ice mine (minute 29:00) there's a big fish pattern made out of unbreakable rocks. It's a nice little touch from the devs.
List of resource and biome names, spoiler free (you can see them in the upgrade menu from the start): All blocks give Diamond Dust that you can spend in upgrade shop to unlock permanent upgrades. (Blueprints are for the upgrade shop to unlock things permanently between runs spending Diamond Dust.) What devs need to do is make is so instead of enemies just despawning if you get too far away, the enemies need to respawn at your current location, simple fix which would remove the current exploit, that way as you run from biome to biome the enemies would just despawn from old biome and respawn in the new biome.
Hope they will implement and endgame thing, for example an Iron man mode or sg, where initial shop prices are the same, but 2nd and further levels are way more costly. And give a difficulty setting for that mode, which gives multiplier for earned Diamond dust. Also if someone manages to kill boss make each wave way stronger without limit. Also only one tier 1 and one tier2 weapon per run, full random, forced to work with what you get. Also on the top of the wall at the Core they could give an end button, if you use it constantly waves are incoming, with expanensionally more and more enemies each wave, so you will eventually fail even with heals and op weapons, so 3rd waves 9 times enemy at the same time, 4th wave is 16 times bigger, etc. not long boring waves but huge short swams. Yes that means soon you almost can't see that many enemies.... :p Of course if number of them not the only solution similar to the beta version give different colored enemies, red.... green.... etc. which are stronger. Or even special colored one are 99% immune to one damage type.
Keep the playtrough going, at least till 100% metaprog please! Do the large mines unless rushing. (Its way faster if you stop dragging items and just go back and forth when full)
My idea for defeat the leviathan reward, you should find something like a "probablility generator" blueprint in the old core. Level 1, you can add to your chance of finding one of either blueprints, schematics, or relics, Level 2, you can improve one and decrease chance of a different one, and level 3, better improve one and eliminate one. So there's still some RNG to it, but you do get a better chance of getting something you need.
Skipping and coming back later seems like a recipe for searching around for the correct mine on the way back. If you feel you can skip them without losing out go for it. If you occasionaly feel you need the materials then do that, no pressure really
Listening to the video and as you were expressing a want for being able to turn off certain schematics chances, things of the like. I've thought about it. And, maybe what they could do is after the Leviathan is beaten, they could introduce a way to spend meta currency when a schematics drop, to re-roll for it. And maybe there could also be a way maybe to buy the schematics that drop in-game with the meta currency. Say, maybe when you've bought all of the upgrades. You could steadily buy them when they drop in game, maybe for a pretty hefty sum. Instead of equipping them. And then, you could have a spot in the workshop, where you can start a run with schematics you've purchased. To keep some amount of randomness to the game. You could start up with I dunno. One spot. Then you could buy a second, third. Maybe up to like five? Just some random thoughts that popped in reflection about it!
definitely gotta get you to do a 100% run sometime soon. no skipping any mines, 100% every one you pass, with a timer running in the top corner so we can see the full time it actually took.. (got a feeling a run like that would have to be edited)

I'm not sure if there's one in each biome, but it seems you are more likely to find them in tougher ones. If your run goes well, you'll probably get 1 crypto-key each run

I wish they would just put a sleeping leviathan in the water that you can wake up by shooting and that would instant kill you, then return for the next run until you go to the top again.
You have to get all 5 crypto keys and take them to the building way up the wall (I think you can only get a max of 1 crypto key per life/run but I could be wrong).
You gotta stop being so apologetic in your videos for what you are doing. People watch you because they enjoy it, so why are you apologizing for that. Regarding comment in your previous video, for me it's not so much asmr, as it's just a cathartic experience seeing fully cleared mines. And your voice and microphone quality makes it an enjoyable experience. This game is still in "early access", so hopefully in the future there will be more tweaks and more content.
Laser Machine Gun out performs all other weapons in the game. It is bar none the best weapo. It's not even close. I tried "solo weapon" runs with each weapon, even the rail gun and singularity generator get over run eventually, the LMG just clears waves better. Same with the bomb thrower and Cluster grenade launcher, they do NOT keep up as good as the LMG.
There are 8 weapons total machine gun, shotgun, stake launcher, bomb launcher, lazer machine gun(ice biome), rail gun(digital biome), cluster launcher(blood biome), singularity launcher(molten biome)

That is useful info. While this extra 5% chance may give few extra "better" ores (per type), it's really good boost for purple one.

I'm in love with this game! As soon as I saw a minute of it on RUclips, I bought it and it's been about 15 hours playing it since then.

The hook and the other one allows you to jump over enemies also. If you run far away enough the wave ends without you needing to defeat everyone.

As for the large mines question, I think grabbing the anomalies and getting the bulk of the entrance resources is the most efficient.

That was a down 2 attachment you skipped. That would have been cluster bomb or land mines. Both are just passive wave assistance and are very good.

When you need to remember a mine, count mines until next cloudlayer. On your way back, the xth mine is the one you needed 👍
