I think Taylor is a very smart, savvy woman. Keeping one's opinion to yourself when you have a massive audience is a pretty good idea when you have people who pay good money to be entertained. Whatever Taylor said would be critized and cause controversy. We fortunately all have a to right to choose to express our opinions or not. Swifties, fans, whoever should not be "shaming" Taylor for her silence.The situation in the Middle East is highly volatile and complicated and is anethma to most. As far as the complaints about the high decibel level of her concert... have you ever witnessed a soccer game? The fans are super loud and constantly blow the vuvuzela, which is a long, plastic horn that produces and ear--splitting buzzing sound. Many soccer stadiums have banned it because of its potential to cause ear damage.
You know you crucified the cities in Scotland. Edinburgh is the capital of the country and is pronounced Ed in burg (as in burger), emphasis on the "Ed"; Aberdeen is the 3rd largest city in Scotland and is pronounced A (as in apple) ber deen. Even if Taylor said something about the conflict with Palestine/Israel who would benefit from it? Will her voice stop the insurgencies being done by both sides? I don't it will do anything and it would only create a bigger divide. This situation will only be decided by those two individuals/governments running those countries. Taylor is an entertainer and not a political activist, and I think she would be making a grave mistake by getting involved in something that she can not control. Bringing a Palestinian flag to the concert in my opinion is incendiary, totally unacceptable. and wrong. People paid a hefty sum of money to attend that concert and for THREE PLUS HOURS those individuals do not want to be bombarded by politics they are there to sing, dance, and have a good time. On another subject, that woman who exchanged words with Kylie, the woman was banging on the car window demanding that Jason or Kylie open the window to take a photo., , and NO that is harassing and not acceptable. Margate City mayor offered to 'redo date night' and he would pick up the tab for Jason and Kylie. Travis NEVER said anything, it was the "insider"' that dished to US Weekly the paragon of journalism and newsworthy publication (sarcasm here). Source, insider, a close friend are the usual suspects and not to be believed.

@@mikedebruyn Oh I know she wants it, but I also know how difficult it will be for her to have it, in the way she dreams of it at least. She's romanticized it with a dozen different faces in a dozen different songs. But, she's Taylor Freaking Swift now, not Jane from Philly who works at a diner. Finding the RIGHT man who can handle HER life and dreams and goals and all the chaos that brings all while checking his ego as the lesser famous, lesser earning, lesser focus of that coupling isn't easy. Travis appears to be very supportive and is doing the right things to be sure, but it's new and he's still a highly paid jock who just won a Super Bowl ring. He's not as intelligent as she is among other things and I do wonder what happens once he's no longer playing football, which is coming up soon. How does he reevaluate his new identity then? How does his ego handle that? These are the things I'd like her to see happen before she gets married and has a kid with him because it's a huge defining moment for him and I'd like to know he's still the man she needs him to be for her. We'll see, but before she's stuck in a marriage with him, she needs to know that answer so I hope she doesn't rush this. And I hope people dying for the romantic ending don't speculate it into happening before she has that answer. She deserves to be sure and there is just no way to KNOW until he makes that transition.

I prefer to say that they look great together and that they will always keep that in the future instead of well do you really need that, better make sure he is the real one etc We are more or less saying the same just from a different angle.
His contract runs for 2 more seasons, and then? He might try a couple of things. How long before he is established in something new that he likes and that she can support him in? I doubt that will happen right after the quits playing. At that time Taylor will be 37 add how many years does she have to give him then?

I think that is why so many people are so enthusiastic about it, they want her to be happy, hope that he is the one that will give her happiness, hope that they talked extensively about it etc but they also acknowledge that time is a limiting factor at her age. Most of those people would have totally reacted differently if she was 23.
@@mikedebruyn There is more to life for a woman than having children especially for someone with all the options she has. I'd hate to limit her or rush her choices just because of that. She deserves much better than that. She can freeze some eggs, she can adopt, get a surrogate, many things if she chooses to become a Mom at all. Getting married before you know for sure just because your eggs are getting older is never a smart idea. I'd just rather we trust her to make those decisions for herself rather than speculating ahead so much. I don't get the incessant talk about engagement/marriage/kids like that's all she's on Earth for. There's far more to happiness than that.
