The fact that this company went through the extent of showcasing all seasons of the year by defoliating their lovely 3D trees and browning up evergreens is a testament to the kind of attention to detail that makes this the best looking game by a long shot. Wonder if in the future they'll include snow on the side of the tracks and cold weather clothed spectators for that added immersion feeling. Reiza keeps this up and soon it'll be the closest to being there, especially in VR. Add the incredible amount of content, upgraded physics and being able to run modded cars and tracks and this puts this sim well above all others - at a fraction of the cost. But don't try to convince all the haters out there, I suppose they know best.
If you read the previous development update posted on 20th September, the section named "V1.6 Graphics Overhaul" It tells you the changes. Not massive engine overhaul really, but significant. There are vehicles in the game that still don't feel fully finished, or not handling like they should, I mentioned this in my review. But AMS2 is still fun, and I enjoy this, and other sims for what they are.
@ yea I know the changes ….But there are no big differences in the graphics or the sound, only the new DLCs have Reiza put in a lot of effort so far. There are page after page of videos showing the game with version 1.5 and 1.6 and there are hardly any differences to be seen.
@@Nightmare77-07 Sorry, I was just replying regarding the graphics and sounds comment. Overall the update has changed quite a few things. The tyre model probably being the biggest, as that has made the sim feel very different especially having to warm up the tyres and brakes before you can now push along with having to drive a lot smoother during cornering.
I am really happy to see AMS2 gets the respect it deserves. It's my favorite sim and the team behind it have been working really hard to make it great
Best sim actually

some awesome shots
Eargasm
Where are the settings?
I can not see a different to the previous versions…. Why is there so much hype about an update?

@@Nightmare77-07 Pretty sure they have improved the doppler effect from trackside cameras as it does sound much better than it used to.
@ a little bit sure but for me personally that's no reason to make AMS2 into a hype for a new game.
