this was phenomenal. i've always been curious to see how the AVP would market partnership switches; it's understandable that the players themselves don't want to dine out on the "drama" of it but it's something singular to beach vball and undeniably intriguing.
especially you end up playing against each other a lot on the AVP tour lol
@@themckibbinbrothers I still remember the drama after some of Kelly's post Olympic comments about Sponcil and their first match against each other following that lol
Great video, thanks for making it! Now can we have a part two where you interview Kelley Kolinske (who apparently was dumped within four hours although the season was going well), and Sarah Sponcil (Sarah and Kelly had quite a blast before Olympics and there seemed to be some chemistry between them in their insta accounts?)
I was under the impression Sponcil did not want to continue with Jordan as their coach

Injuries, I believe
Up until maybe the past two years I predominantly watched indoor but now have been tuning into beach as well. This really humanized Kelly Cheng for me. It’s so easy to make judgements about what a person will be like based on how you see them play but I love these series as you get to know more about the players as people too.
