Just start. That's a very good advice! I'm really hesitant to launch my cooking channel because I'm afraid that my videos are not good/interesting enough to watch. Now what you've said encourages me to go forward. I will try to improve my future shots on the process. Anyway, my family already enjoyed all the new dishes that I'm making and that for me is already a success! Thank you. 😊
I always hesitated to create mine until I read Rene Brown’s book: DARING GREATLY, where she talks about vulnerability and how we shouldn’t be afraid of showing who we are and not be afraid of being vulnerable. And that really stuck with me, because the love of cooking and food and table styling is a bug part of me and I didn’t want to hide that any longer even if it’s not perfect. Because people who love you will find everything that you do perfect, and people who don’t like/hate you will always always find flaws even in your most perfect work (from experience) so just do You and forget the rest
I was just searching for a simple taco recipe until I found myself watching most of your videos. I got a lot of take aways from your very informative videos. That's so much value. Thank you so much! 😊 It's worth my time.
Thank you for your video, it has helped me a lot. My husband and I have started a cooking show on Facebook Live. We are ready to take it to the next level and you have helped me with so much...
Thank you so much Phillip! I was about to start my cooking channel right before the pandemic hit Europe, I tested out a couple of things and the light was not good, so now with this video I think I can start solving that issue, your vids are great, learning lots from you! I will now start again and get to it. Thank you.
This was exactly what I was looking for, and it was a pleasure to hear your insight man! I'm kicking off my own channel off shortly, and will be sure to share the love and appreciation for your content, my brother. Thank you!
It's an amazing video but unfortunately all products you recommend are not available on Amazon since long time, would you please recommend a continuous light product that I can use for video cooking, which is better ring light or other types, please add link for products you will recommend. Thanks a lot.
Just found your channel tonight and you deserve a lot more subscribers! You are amazing. Continue doing content. Can't wait for you to reach 100k subs!! (Currently 12:53AM Philippine time lol)
Thank you so much Aya! I was feeling a little down this morning and you totally helped cheer me up. I really appreciate you taking the time to watch and leave such a positive comment on my video.
@@PhilipLemoine was watching your videos and can't help but notice how you post such quality content then I saw the views and thought to myself that your videos should reach so much more views. Continue doing you. ✊
Hey Philip, New sub here. Let me start by saying I'm a small BBQ channel with a passion to grow and improve. Secondly, your videos are pretty awesome and very helpful. Happy to have found your channel.
This was so informative. I have a question. What bulb is in your kitchen light that served as your hair/rim lighting behind you? Thank you for your time. Your a great teacher.
Thank you for your great video. I place my light boxes as you advised. But as I were glasses, it makes a funny reflection on my glasses. Is there any way to avoid that?
Love your style. You should be a college lecturer. I want to do only overhead shots of my cooking. I use an iphone. What lighting should I consider for that? The same or ring lights?
Hello Philip Happy New Year, I am a beginner. Just wondering is there a program you would recommend for someone just using their smartphone ? Thanks for the content I love the channel
Recommendations for starter light or lights for both food photography and youtube kitchen recipe filming. Should I spend more on 1 nicer continuous light and softbox with a stand or get a kit that may be slightly lower quality? Bulb, LED, ...not sure what to get. Small space. I would prefer just a handheld LED panel portable light for food photos but not sure if it will work and still need lights for filming. :T Trying to find this all under $150 0r $100. Any recommendations would be very helpful. Love your content. Thanks in advance!
Thanks alot fir information can you guide me that where to put one light if i have only one studio led light, i have cool Light 400watts. Rest of the light are regular and fitted in my ceiling Plx guide
Really learning from your how to videos. Do you have a lighting one for outdoor shots? I plan to do several bbq videos which could involve night shots outside as well as kitchen.
I think the lighting setup can be the same for outdoor night time but if its in the daytime youll need some VERY bright lights. Im stoked youre finding value in the video man! Good luck with your channel bro! LOVE me some bbq too. As soon as I move or get a house first thing im getting is a smoker. My family does competition bbq back in cali!

Hey! I was wondering, would you recommend a cool daylight colour or a crystal white coloured LED?
I would recommend one that you can change the color temp!
