The mawlid is celebrating the fact that he was born. (the word means three things, the place of birth, the birth itself and the day he was born). What's been mentioned here is that we should definitely celebrate his existence. The mawlid is just a name, there's no specific thing added as an act of worship to the day, but just a day in which we can remember "my prophet was born on this day in the 6th century" and it encourages you to send salawat on him. That's all I think it really is. So it's not really about celebrating on a specific day, but rather a day we highlight as a reminder, like an alarm clock.
No one will worship our prophet ((saw). Stay together send salaam. Mawlid is poetry of the seerah of our beloved. I'm sure many people listen to nasheeds which are also mawlid. Ta'ala al Badrul Alayna is mawlid. No dancing or jumping at the mawlidis I have gone to.
very good lecture.the problem with conducting a party ceremony is that ignorant muslims think prophet PBUH was not abd.astaghfirullah they think prophet can come to mawlid ceremony.here biddats start.yes i 100% agree with shaikh.we should do shukar on this day and hold seera conference etc.
@Deanboy2007. Sorry bro, you are being an arm chair critic. Unless you know that you are doing than him for this deen then you should refrain from criticising scholars. Leave this to other scholars. Clearly you are not one otherwise you would not have made this comment. Here is an advice to you: Anything that you listen to, take what's beneficial and leave what you don't find useful to you so that you do not backbite other Muslims, especailly great ones.
@Deanboy2007 Yeh well im sure many muslims and many others would say exactly the same about you. Im sure those individuals of the past who 'displayed traits of idiocy' where those who disagreed with your view. Arrogance is one of the biggest traits of idiocy i would say.
Its more important to follow the Prophets sunnah, then to celebrate his birth. Not to disregard the fact it is fardh to send salawat onto Muhammad saw. I think its extremely important to remember Rasoolullah every day of my life whether its on his birthday or not! But to set a specific day aside and to celebrate his birth when our Prophet never prescribed us to do so and neither did the sahabah ever do such a thing, i feel like its going too far. Please correct me if I am wrong. jazakhallah.
Haarith Vohra I don't know if what your saying is right or wrong (nor am I in any position to claim either), I personally think that the mawlid is celebrating the fact that he was born. @@محمدابراهيم-ذ2ظ6ك yes i slightly disagree with shaikh bcoz jahil muslims go too far and sing nasheeds which are shirkia.sending salawat or even seera conference is enough.
@@tasneemrauf1702 Why its shirk?? Bc you believe so?? Whats the source of your verdict?? Are you an islamic scholar?? or are you a modern muslim..an ignorant that scatters around fatwas with zero knowledge?
@@MultiCanEman i am sorry for writing on this topic.nasheeds are of course permitted.why not ? our beloved prophet s a a w liked poetry.my point was that since we dont know about the prescribed method on celebration in sunnah so ignorant go above and beyond and end up singing nasheeds which can be shirkia.
If you want to praise the prophet SAW then do as he commanded you. Send salutation upon him. He SAW disliked people to praise him for the fear that people may worship him like jesus ,peace be upon them. No such thing was acted upon by the companions or any close generation. Then why do you do that which you do. Fear Allah and do not step on stairs that would lead to shirk.
This man's another example of Intelligence, Sincerity and Knowledge with an Amazing ability to show the true meaning of Islam :)
He ( SallallhuAlaihiWasallam ) Is Amongst Us ... True Love and Imaan... Subhan Allah
