I applaud Isis for being the person she is clearly meant to be. Who are we to judge? WHAT does it say for those that are born with BOTH gender organs? HOW are they supposed to live? People are so quick to judge "oh he was born a boy, he should act like one". PFFT!!! Isis is beautiful, and I am SO GLAD she is finally going to get to take that final step towards her personal happiness. Nobody else has to be happy in this situation except Isis. I am really happy that Isis reached her dream. Its hard for us Trans girls to deal knowing that many people will never except us as women and we will never have our bodies match our gender identities. She is one lucky woman.

Jeezus,..Everyone, Gender is not solely determined by "what's between your legs". Everything about gender and gender identity is determined by a very delicate balance of many hormones, meaning, there's a lot of opportunity for gray areas in gender or gender identity. no one is 100% straight, etc.. or 100% female or male due to the many factors that pl
I can only imagine that when Isis looks at her body and sees a penis she feels the same kind of thing women who have had a mastectomy must feel. Many women who have lost a breast (or both) to cancer have to battle their feelings of feminine inadequacy and feel comfortable with their body again. Obviously, it isn't our parts that make us who we are, and cancer victims come to realize that. I think Isis is a perfect example of that sort of issue translated onto a different canvas.

But I doubt transgenderism is figured into it. There are also Female-to-Male trans people, so you would have to add them to the equation too.

The basic bicategorisation male/female is not a given as many would think, it's mostly a social construction (Simone de Beauvoir "On ne naît pas femme, on le devient", "one is not born a woman, one becomes one"). Scientists estimate that about 1 to 3% of the population doesn't fit into the male/female binome. If Isis feels she's a woman, she should definetly have her sex change. Better than feeling your entire life that you were born in the wrong body.

Probably because Uncle Ronald wanted to be Whitney Houston for the longest..lol I am just open to everything. I don't shut nothing out but there are things I don't agree with but I also do not be disrespectful and hateful and that's what people need to learn. To be nice, and respectful and treat others how they would want to be treated.

From what i know i think Isis should go to Thailand and get her surgery done... it's a lot less expensive and is still as good as here in America... Besides have anyone seen dose Thai transgenders they are gorgeous they look better than girls...
