oh god this was so heartwrenching to watch. the way claudia tries so hard to get louis away from lestat's hold, lestat's resentment over louis and claudia's bond and louis who loves both but always when it matters the most, fails claudia because he's too in love and wrapped up with lestat. poor poor claudia has to bear the burden of their toxic love. beautiful video!

And how many times in those 6 years after the fight did Louis have to just walk out with Claudia? Lestat asked and said he would leave his life forever? (I am not sure he would have, but still). Louis just needed to say leave. Love, toxic or not is a strange thing. 🌷🌹🌷🌹
@@jordanparker657 Yes, Louis could never truly give lestat up. I hope we'll see more self-reflection from him next season now that Daniel has brought up his true memories

Oof... that got me in my emotions.
Because that's how I saw it. Louis was something precious, something delicate and so soo fragile ESPECIALLY when Lestat took him. So it really is like Lestat closed his fist (claws and all) around Louis, and nearly shatters him. In my mind I see Louis as this vibrant beautiful glass butterfly. But it's wings are cracked and chipped. Beating against the "bars" that are Lestats fingers. And in the end, Claudia had to break his fingers just to get Louis out. But in doing so, broke one of Louis' wings completely .
It's just so tragic and painful. At this point I'm here for Louis, going into S2 I'm on Louis' side and Louis' alone. Everybody wants Louis, but nobody cares what Louis wants. He's just this rare, precious glass butterfly to them and they want to possess him. Keep him in a display case (I'm side-eyeing you hard Armand, you nasty little beasty).
