Funny you make this just as I finally replayed it now years later. It’s a unique and underrated masterpiece, and I’d be more excited for bully 2 than gta 6
Im so glad i grew up with this game. The soundtrack was extraordinary, the gameplay was actually quite unique when you factor in the truancy system and the classes, the combat was good and the different fighting styles depending on the cliques were one of my favorite touches. Even the story was fantastic despite being an older game about being a kid surviving bullies in school. The game is honestly a hidden gem that many may have heard of, but not many acknowledge.
The upgraded sling shot was absolutely overpowered; you could clear a line of bullies by using one fully powered shot to their third eye for each one. I remember clearing some of the later missions by being a cowardly sniper and popping everyone's face to make it to the boss. Bully is worthy of a sequel or even a simple remaster for what it has to offer, but I'm not sure we can trust any modern game developer to do this game the justice it deserves.
I really appreciated how the different seasons felt in Bully. Good atmosphere. I liked all the cute outfits and hairstyles too, more than one would expect from a game of this time.
