My mom got a white Adrienne Vitattadini sweater for me at a garage sale (I saw it in Vogue for $200 in the 80"s). It had long black oily smears down it, looked like some guy had cleaned his dipstick on it. Mom got the stains out hand washing it in cold water using GOOP hand cleaner. We tried other brands, they do not work nearly as well. You can get it at Walmart, gets out sweat stains, ball point ink and ironed in dark makeup. The stuff is brilliant.
I use a stain remover that is cheap and works, it comes from the dollar store in a green container. Soil Love. You probably know but dish washing liquid is good too. It is made to break down grease . I retsore linens and stains are often old and I still get them out. Cheers!
I have to tell you, when you said you were picking up baby clothes, a HUGE smile came to my face. I've been following you for about 2 years now and I noticed from the first video I watched of you that you have such a sweet and pleasant demeanor about you. I think you will be an absolutely amazing mommy when you are ready 💖
THANK YOU for making me feel not alone about the baby clothes lol! I'm not planning on having my first for another two-ish years but my future child already has a pair of vintage osh kosh b'gosh overalls!
I love going to the Bins in my area for myself and for resale... My hubby stays outside and sleeps... I'm am wheelchair disabled so it's a bit hard but I can... Everyone is very nice and not pushy.... In Oct it will be open for hardgoods and I can't wait!!!
Thank you for making these videos. I have learned a lot from your videos. I appreciate all the work you put into your videos. They are all so informative! Thank you.
I agree! I typically spend 3-4 hours digging through bins and spend around $100 or less at $1.29/lb. I’ll donate anything that has bad flaws or take to Plato’s/Clothes Mentor if they’re not worth listing. No patience to go through it all on-site.
Nap is totally a new brand to me too but those pants are so freaking cute!! I love when I think something is good at the bins and the comps confirm it 🤩🥰 Great haul!!
Those nap pants are great! I just found a nap cashmere sweater at a thrift store yesterday. I was not familiar with the brand but could tell it felt like quality.
Great haul video. I love how you express your enthusiasm after sourcing but then mention the reality of reselling which is unexpected low comps, stains, and other defects. I don't factor my Cog until I find my mistakes for that reason. It is kinda of a manic mood swing isn't it?
I sell mostly makeup and skincare on posh and find it sells great! And at a good profit too. I have some clothing mixed in too but definitely a lot of beauty stuff.
We found a huge amount of Popflex items at a couple of local thrift stores all NWT and we have had lots of fun and quite a few sales from them over the last year. They are super thick and high quality. It’s a women owned and operated Company with high quality standards. The biggest thing I have learned about the brand is that they have a cult like following. Very very serious about their Popflex. We apparently got a line that never made it to mass production and boy those “Popflexers” came after us hard saying they were not Popflex because they were not a style they were familiar with. 😂🤣
Looks like the Levi's had a crotch hole! lol. I don't even try to get in the mass of people at the bins, I just go where no one else is and still find really great things. Everyone is looking for different things. Recently found a NWT Johnny Was military jacket in a dry cleaning bag that was in a bin that a million people had already been in. Crazy!
I pull 50-100 dollar vintage rock shirts literally every time. I'll dig with the crowd for a couple minutes when something comes out for quick obvious treasure. Usually I get the good stuff hanging back checking brands and hoodies and t shirts. Mine has a bunch of regulars but they aren't the same demographics different ages and races so everyone is looking for different stuff and are all finding good stuff. Today in an hour I got a hundred dollar avenge sevenfold hoodie, a 50 dollar Dora the explorer jacket a 40 dollar Harley Davidson seersucker shirt all mint. 3 pants with new 40 dollar price tags on them, nice I can probably get 20 a piece at least. And 2 woman's sweaters worth 30. All without looking with the crowd. I spent 13 bucks. Awesome finds I would have missed a bunch of those ladies clothing, but not all of them.
Omg you found really great pieces in Goodwill outlet. Where I live we don't have outlets. We usually make a trip to U.S for outlets. I found many brand name clothes and jackets. Take care and be safe. Love you sis. 💖❤💖❤
I have never been to the bins but am a little nervous to go. I feel like it is a resellers right to passage. Lol. That zara dress is so cute! Hopefully it is an easy fix!
i am a newbie to reselling. i went to the bins 2x now. found a lot of great pieces...but how do you wash the clothes before selling them or taking them to the consignment store?? I just ruined a down filled jacket by putting it in the dryer, and some of the jeans i bought looked brand new without tags before i washed them and now they do not. i need help before i ruin all the good finds. Do you wash ALL the clothes? Do you just steam some of them? are the New without tags not washed? and are the New with tags not washed? All these questions are for "the bins smell" and goodwill smell. Please help!! Thank you.
Like: Zara booties, Johnny Was embroidered tunic, All Saints top, Good American jeans, Zara polka dot tank, Maeve yellow lace tank, Anthro white tunic vest, The North Face fuzzy jacket, RL sherpa lined jacket, Rag and Bone booties I think it is pronounced like "Burk" - you were pronouncing the letter O of Dooney and Bourke, Zara Crop Top
I've sold a Smart Wool quarter zip with 14 holes, all disclosed, and still made a profit. Was in my first month of reselling and I was so disappointed when I noticed the holes too late.
Omg I do the same thing with baby clothes because I know one day I or someone I know will need it and I find so many good things I don’t want to pass up haha 😂
I dig thru everything also, I can't believe how many people just do a cursory look thru things....I once found a Lululemon bag at the bottom of a 4 foot tall bin under a bunch of hard goods
Shame about the Poppy dress, that was so cute! So were the tie dye workout shorts and Johnny Was at the bins! Still have never found Johnny…. I started sending a lot of my North Face to The Real Real. Moves pretty good. It’s always so saturated on Poshmark.
I sell to freestyle clothing exchange which is basically like cross roads. And in my opinion I never buy jeans that the waist size is bigger then the length because they never buy it. I’d stick to the same size length and waist or keep the waist size lower the the length size. Or for those that are a larger waist and smaller length I’d cut into shorts
I just found a similar Johnny Was top at my thrift (Paid about $6) and my first time finding!! But wanted to mention I sell a fair bit of skincare and makeup that I used to source from the Boxycharm pop up sales, but they have upped their prices and it's not really a feasible sourcing strategy anymore
Have you ever been to the bins in okc? I’m from Tulsa and went only once, to the bins in okc, and was not impressed. Found a lot of rugs, comforters, and toys.
I'm selling a similar Free People contrast sleeve thermal right now (but in burnt orange). Almost kept it for myself. Not sure how it will do online, but I already have 2 friends interested in purchasing it so it may not make it there anyway lol.
You are giving me courage to try the bins! There is one about an hour and a half away. I was just never sure if it would be worth it! Are the "Goodwill Select" tags still attached? Do you see much "Goodwill Select"? I am in western, PA.
Hey Mogi Beth - I also live in the Portland area and used to love going to the bins, but I haven't been since before COVID. And I've only been to the Hillsboro location. In this video did you go to Milwaukie and then Airport? I've been curious to branch out to these locations but also hesitant because I don't want to wait in a long line to shop. Thanks for any insight - love your videos!
I live in Portland too. I've only been to the Airport bins. I've had no problems with lines, one time there were no available carts, but after awhile a nice older lady gave me hers. I love that it's only one person per bin (the employees aren't afraid to tell people too!) I hope you're able to get some good stuff!
I’ve just started looking for makeup and skin care items when I’m thrifting. I see a lot at estate sales so I’m going to start opening them to see if they’re new! ♥️
I need a video on how to deodorize shoes lol. Just bought a pair of mk flats for 8.00 in perfect condition. But holy hell they smell i think thats why someone gave them up! Currently in a bag in my freezer trying to kill the smell....o.O
You obviously do very little thriftng, as I was hard pressed to find an occasional used item in your eBay store. You sell almost exclusively new clothes. That's a completely different thing from reselling.
Sorry to tell you friend an hr is not enough ! Plan on 3- 4 hr.....thanks for sharing. Lots of folks from KS are comming to CO.....many whole sales are hear. Shipping to Africa, Mexico as well as the whole sales. 😵 sometimes I wonder if some clothing and stuff is out of mathlap homes???? 🤔🤔😱😱
The Johnny Was top for me too. I also wish the Zara floral dress could be saved it is so beautiful.
I thought I was the only one wanting to collect baby clothes for the future, glad to know I’m not alone! 😅❤️✨
the dooney and bourke so really well on thredup, I consistently get over $150 for that style
WOW at the Johnny was! that's a brand I've never even found in regular stores. LOVE that piece!
THANK YOU for making me feel not alone about the baby clothes lol! I'm not planning on having my first for another two-ish years but my future child already has a pair of vintage osh kosh b'gosh overalls!
Thank you so much for sharing brands that are attainable for many of us. Great haul!
I found a similar Johnny Was embroidered tunic dress at the bins last week. It was also in perfect condition. I was positively shocked!
I love going to the Bins in my area for myself and for resale... My hubby stays outside and sleeps... I'm am wheelchair disabled so it's a bit hard but I can... Everyone is very nice and not pushy.... In Oct it will be open for hardgoods and I can't wait!!!
I have 3 goodwill outlets near me! One is 6 mins away the other 16 and the other 30 lol I love it!
Oh wow! 6 minutes away!? That's AWESOME!! Mine are all at least 20 minutes.
@@MogiBeth do you go to the one in Salem? I am located equally away from the one in Salem and Portland.
Johnny Was was my favorite find of your sourcing trip!
It’s definitely one of my favorites too! 😍
I LOVE that Johnny Was tunic! So beautiful! Johnny Was has done really well for me when I list it. 😊
This is a great video! Would love more like this:)
Favorite item: the Johnny Was Embroidered blouse 🌺
Thank you for making these videos. I have learned a lot from your videos. I appreciate all the work you put into your videos. They are all so informative! Thank you.
I appreciate the discipline, but kicking yourself for not checking comps when an item costs you under $2.00 seems like overkill!
I agree! I typically spend 3-4 hours digging through bins and spend around $100 or less at $1.29/lb. I’ll donate anything that has bad flaws or take to Plato’s/Clothes Mentor if they’re not worth listing. No patience to go through it all on-site.
Agreed! Although I exclusively thrift at the bins to resell to consignment stores, so I don’t have to be as picky.
Time is money....too cheap to pass up!
Nap is totally a new brand to me too but those pants are so freaking cute!! I love when I think something is good at the bins and the comps confirm it 🤩🥰
Great haul!!
Those nap pants are great! I just found a nap cashmere sweater at a thrift store yesterday. I was not familiar with the brand but could tell it felt like quality.
I wonder what is the process to clean before selling those pieces
Thanks 😊
Love the bins videos ❤️ GREAT STUFF 😉
Great haul video. I love how you express your enthusiasm after sourcing but then mention the reality of reselling which is unexpected low comps, stains, and other defects. I don't factor my Cog until I find my mistakes for that reason. It is kinda of a manic mood swing isn't it?
I can’t believe how much great stuff you got at the bins!!! 😱😱🔥🔥💃
Thank you for video. I found 2 NWT “Mother” brand denim jeans 👍🏻
Sold a Free People thermal like that 2 weeks ago :) I don't sell beauty products yet, but *LOVE* Tula!! Use it everyday!
I sell mostly makeup and skincare on posh and find it sells great! And at a good profit too. I have some clothing mixed in too but definitely a lot of beauty stuff.

Love the Johnny Was piece! I've only been to the bins once and had a...not great experience lolol so I haven't been back, but this makes me want to!
Great finds! Thanks for sharing 💕👍🏼
Looks like the Levi's had a crotch hole! lol. I don't even try to get in the mass of people at the bins, I just go where no one else is and still find really great things. Oh shoot! I didn't see that! I will have to go check. Thanks for pointing that out. WOAHH! That's an incredible find. See, you never know!
Ive noticed it too! :)
I do too! And sometimes I'm shocked that nobody picked an item up but hey maybe they would just weren't looking for it

Those green anthro pants are SO cute! If they were my size I would totally buy them.
Oooh - I think PopFlex is Blogilates' brand (she's a super popular RUclipsr)
I still have yet to try out the bins but I will! I found Good American jeans recently and they just sold today! That is definitely a bolo
Omg you found really great pieces in Goodwill outlet. Where I live we don't have outlets. We usually make a trip to U.S for outlets. I found many brand name clothes and jackets. Take care and be safe. Love you sis. 💖❤💖❤
The Johnny was piece was stunning! I love it!!!
um you got so many awesome things!!! i am shocked! i wish we had bins in our area
I have never been to the bins but am a little nervous to go. I feel like it is a resellers right to passage. Lol. That zara dress is so cute! Hopefully it is an easy fix!
I got a Maeve dress yesterday
Hi Mogi!
Some of my faves are the olive green pants and white sweater top from Anthropology 🌈
Ohhh yay!! I am glad I picked those up!
Those Levi’s are silver tag - worth a little more than normal Levi’s but not as much as orange tag, still a $40 pair of jeans if they’re good quality
i am a newbie to reselling. i went to the bins 2x now. found a lot of great pieces...but how do you wash the clothes before selling them or taking them to the consignment store?? Holy Cow. That Lululemon jacket is identical and has an identical stain to one I sold a while back lol
🤣🥰 I thought I was the only one that bought kids clothes for my futures kids🤣🥰
Can we see the kids clothes? I would be interested in what brands and styles you are curating for your future babies!
$1.09 per pound in Nashville, and they have two outlets. Both good.
Like: Zara booties, Johnny Was embroidered tunic, All Saints top, Good American jeans, Zara polka dot tank, Maeve yellow lace tank, Anthro white tunic vest, The North Face fuzzy jacket, RL sherpa lined jacket, Rag and Bone booties
I think it is pronounced like "Burk" - you were pronouncing the letter O of Dooney and Bourke, Zara Crop Top
I love Tula! thats a great time to use yourself. I just finished that cleanser.
I wear makeup on ebay. The shipping is horrible for makeup on poshmark unless its higher end.
The second goodwill you went to, they need more carts. I used to rarely get one when I went there.
What criteria do you use to decide whether something's going to cross roads or 2 thread up or that you will sell yourself? Thanks!
I generally take to my local buy sell trade store first and then thredup. Most things you’ll get more for at a buy sell trade store then thredup.
I've sold a Smart Wool quarter zip with 14 holes, all disclosed, and still made a profit. Was in my first month of reselling and I was so disappointed when I noticed the holes too late.
Loved the Johnny Was top
Right? The embroidery 😍
So many great finds! 😍👍
My nearest one is 3 hours away! Luckily we can deduct mileage! Lol
Omg I do the same thing with baby clothes because I know one day I or someone I know will need it and I find so many good things I don’t want to pass up haha 😂
Need that FP flannel in my life!
I dig thru everything also, I can't believe how many people just do a cursory look thru things....I once found a Lululemon bag at the bottom of a 4 foot tall bin under a bunch of hard goods
Theres a TON of people at my outlet. They put out about 14-16 bins for the whole day now. Its busy.
Shame about the Poppy dress, that was so cute! So were the tie dye workout shorts and Johnny Was at the bins! Still have never found Johnny…. I started sending a lot of my North Face to The Real Real. Moves pretty good. It’s always so saturated on Poshmark.
Love the all saints top ❤️
Yess. It’s so dainty & elegant 😍

Your outlet does not look that busy mine is always crazy busy lol
You got some good finds!
You always say comps are good but you never say what the comps are nor do you ever say what you are going to list for...WISH YOU WOULD...Thanks
It’s easy to just look them up
Did you sell those nap pants? I'm looking for them in your closet. I love them!
Do you have all of your inventory listed?
I found outdoor voices yesterday for the first time!
Figs has been so good to me 😭💕 they always sell within a few days.
I sold that exact Maeve blouse for decent money a few months ago
I'm selling a similar Free People contrast sleeve thermal right now (but in burnt orange). Almost kept it for myself. Not sure how it will do online, but I already have 2 friends interested in purchasing it so it may not make it there anyway lol.
There are phone cases that have a built in charger in them so you dont have to carry around the battery pack!
Ohhh that’s a great idea!!
@@MogiBeth I love mine! Also acts kind of as an otterbox. Got it from Amazon :) the charge is about 1.5x
How often are you at the bins?
Sadly there are no goodwill bins close to my town 😭
Do you use a specific laundry brand to wash your items?
Would you shop to Canada? I like the free people thermal🙂
Have I been saying Dooney and Bourke wrong my whole life
You are giving me courage to try the bins! There is one about an hour and a half away. I was just never sure if it would be worth it! Are the "Goodwill Select" tags still attached? Do you see much "Goodwill Select"? I am in western, PA.
Is this the Hillsboro Oregon location
Yep you said it lol
Nice video...when you say you make 6 figures that include youtube or just reselling on ebay/poshmark?
Crossroads? never heard of it. What is it?
Lmk how much you get for the levis
Hey Mogi Beth - I also live in the Portland area and used to love going to the bins, but I haven't been since before COVID. And I've only been to the Hillsboro location. The one on Ochoco road is the best!
Top man pant...glen plaid...
Houndstooth is different.
We have one just use gloves I almost got cut bad by broken glass
I’ve just started looking for makeup and skin care items when I’m thrifting. I see a lot at estate sales so I’m going to start opening them to see if they’re new! ♥️
Our bins are deep, I nearly have to fall my 5'3" body into them..
Same here! My back would prefer if I just crawled inside to sort 😂
I need a video on how to deodorize shoes lol. Just bought a pair of mk flats for 8.00 in perfect condition. But holy hell they smell i think thats why someone gave them up! Currently in a bag in my freezer trying to kill the smell....o.O
Popflex is Blogilates brand :)
It’s the best location… I find a lot for my RUclips channel 👍🛒❤️🔔👀
Dooney & Bourke is pronounced BURK.
That is not how you pronounce Dooney & Bourke lol (Burk not bork) cute
Thanks. I was starting to think I’ve been pronouncing it wrong for years 🤣
You obviously do very little thriftng, as I was hard pressed to find an occasional used item in your eBay store. You sell almost exclusively new clothes. That's a completely different thing from reselling.
So hard to sell Free People now

And an year later you are pregnant!😊
It looks like the Levi black men’s jeans has a hole in the crotch.
No intention of getting pregnant. Lol.
Poshmark is a scam ! I am loosing money with it.
