Degi Style Zarda - Soft and Long Grain Rice

- Zarda is a very famous sweet rice from Pakistan. These golden rice are cooked in milk sugar until they are tender and soft. I shared this recipe to enjoy this authentic style zarda at home.
1/2kg Recipe Ingredients:
Rice 500gms (2.5cups)
Salt 1/2tsp
Green Cardamom 4
Cloves 4
Orange Food Color 1/2tsp
Ghee 100gms (less than half a cup)
Sugar 500gms (2cups)
Milk or Water 1/2cup
Garnish As required

Cloves 40
Orange Food Color as required
Ghee 1kg
Sugar 5kg
Milk or Water 1.75kg
