People here in Florida think they are the only ones with gators lol. Being from Oklahoma every times someone from Florida talks about how scary all the wild life is in Florida. I just laugh and walk away. Haha

Right? We’ve got everything in Oklahoma. Gators, black bear, mountain lions, wild hogs, timber rattlesnakes, pigmy rattlesnakes, eastern diamondback rattlesnakes, western diamondback rattlesnakes, cottonmouths, copperheads, coral snakes, black widows, fiddlebacks, scorpions, centipedes, fire ants, monster catfish, alligator gar, disease infested mosquitoes… just to name a few. 😂 😅

They’ve wandered out there, but aren’t as common. Still got a ton of venomous snakes and spiders in all parts of Oklahoma as well as mountain lions.

Wait really they actually come out to central Oklahoma? I have swam in just about every alligator home sized pond or river. Does that mean there’s a chance I could have swam with a gator? I’m not all too scared about the snakes and spiders. My home is practically invaded by fiddlebacks cause I live next to a swamp
