He is just hanging it thr for customers.. actually it works on charcoal. U need to put charcoal in it and burn it. Then charcoal keeps burning slowly for 2-4 hours and it warms it up and your body 😀
No need to get ua panty twisted.. v wear thing call pherin(long loose coat/cloak) n v keep kangri inside pherin. People can walk out of house without freezing their butt. It's like carrying ua own heating system with u.

And kangri is used with Pheran ( treditional kashmiri outfit) we put kangri under the Pheran ..
