It's been like 3-4 years since I've listened to this (this long already oof) and it felt just like the first time. Actually, this time it was much more intense because I've got the memories and the knowledge of what comes next mixed with heavy nostalgia and love for this show, its staff and its music. Wow. Amazing composition, Brian! Just like many others of yours. It might be some bias because I care for this show, but I will keep supporting this as one of the best soundtracks for cartoons out there.

Genuinely, this track alone makes season 6 my favourite. It's my favourite piece from the series by far; it's just so evocative and definitely shaped my compositional style 🙏🙏 The build up to the 5:58 mark and the subsequent strings that come with it is my favourite section in the whole thing and it absolutely plays on loop in my head sometimes. It's made so much better by the contrast with the relative vulnerability that comes at 5:12 with the "you're my brother, I love you" line in the show too. The whole track is masterfully composed and I'd be here forever if was going to try analyse all of it ❤🖤

Thought of this today when I hadn’t in years, and totally agree with that climax at 5:58 being incredible and my favorite part of the track (and all Voltron’s tracks!). So memorable and still gives me chills listening

i've been coming back to this ever since i found this specific track in my youtube recommended after rewatching the show again recently, it really is one of my favorite tracks ever from the entire series!! what was the idea for the brief heartbeat at around 6:40? i've been puzzling over it since i picked up on it but i'm really interested in what it is!!
