The real problem is that the guys on the teams aren’t friends at all. The other issue is that 6 guys on the team are in contract years so they are looking to get theirs. Nobody is getting a serious contract for defense so all their energy is going to the offensive end. It also doesn’t help when the leader on the team John Wall prefers to spend time partying at Rosebar and having one of the worst diets a pro athlete can have. John Wall eats like complete SHIT. All that MVP talk is just talk, JW on pace for 300m Career earnings(not even including 3 stripes contract) and I just don’t think he cares like that, plus these athletes are human and have vices just like us. Ernie should have moved on from these dudes last year, the combination of JW and BB doesn’t and will never work.

I'm a Wizards fan from D.C and I cosign everything Smitty gotta say. Iv'e watched every game. Few points: 1.) Our defense is atrocious. Wall is the main culprit. If you watch any our games, he gets lit up like a Christmas tree (Donic from Dallas gave him 23 as a ROOKIE!) 2.) Scott brooks has the most uncreative robotic offense, literally any team knows what were doing it's so predictable even if you don't watch basketball, you know what's coming. 3). First SAS isn’t in DC like that if he still calling the Stadium the Verizon Center when it’s Capital One Arena, but that is not the issue. The real problem is that the guys on the teams aren’t friends at all. These guys have zero chemistry off the court, they don’t hang out, they don’t have any team bonding stuff, and everyone just goes their own ways after games and practices. The other issue is that 6 guys on the team are in contract years so they are looking to get theirs. Nobody is getting a serious contract for defense so all their energy is going to the offensive end. It also doesn’t help when the leader on the team John Wall prefers to spend time partying at Rosebar and having one of the worst diets a pro athlete can have. John Wall eats like complete SHIT. All that MVP talk is just talk, JW on pace for 300m Career earnings(not even including 3 stripes contract) and I just don’t think he cares like that, plus these athletes are human and have vices just like us. Ernie should have moved on from these dudes last year, the combination of JW and BB doesn’t and will never work.

They trade their 1st round pick for guys like Bogdanavic every year. All in all a terrible situation.

Also plays great defense regardless of shooting struggles, takes tons of charges and does all the little things that Wall doesn't. Only east PG that compares is Kyrie really, and that's only because Kyrie is incredible 1v1 and clutch. Every other skill Kyle is better.
