Outside of the third world, other countries do not see America in the same way Americans think they're viewed. It's been this way for at least 100 years now. This "American advantage" you talk about? Your healthcare and social security is awful, your worklife balance is terrible, your school system is weak, most kids cannot afford university without going broke, the gap between rich and poor is scandalous and your society is violent. I would understand why some people from Liberia or Sierra Leone may think coming to America is a good idea but don't kid yourself about the rest of us.

  • @RichardHarlos
    @RichardHarlos 18 дней назад +3

One thing I would say that favors going south is it's relative insulation from nuclear fallout should somebody press a big red button somewhere. In the event of a nuclear war, the best place to be is south of the equator because the Earth's atmospheric circulation creates a natural barrier that limits the mixing of air between the hemispheres. Wind patterns like the jet streams and the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) slow the spread of radioactive fallout from the Northern Hemisphere, where most nuclear-armed countries and likely targets are located. While some fallout could eventually drift south over time, it would take months or even years, making the Southern Hemisphere much safer in the short term. Additionally, with fewer major cities and more ocean, there's less direct fallout. However, global effects like cooling (nuclear winter) could still have an impact.
And to the point about healthcare degradation times, this is all very 'one and done' thinking. In the time it takes for Andrew to get to age 60-75, the world is likely to be changing rapidly. So, if a place outside the US that someone has chosen shows signs that 'getting out' would be a good idea, there's always time to make that observation, conclusion, and to move again. So Paraguay, Chile, and Argentina are all about the best places one could pick initially. Just some food for thought.

I hate referring to working people as a resource but thats their lingo... As working class folks we end up on the short end of the stick while the rich get richer but we also need to consider that during this process the very poorest in both of our countries become less poor. Also as a working class American it was once a given that you had employer paid health insurance, that's now becoming a rarity, at least you guys have been able to cover that for yourselves with a national health care system. I disagree with Andrew.
The world people in the US, Europe, Middle East and very possibly China, is about to change, in the blink of an eye...barring divine intervention. The party is over. Count your blessings. Enjoy your meals and each day while you still can. Not a doomer, just a blatant reality check on the current world scenario. Nothing lasts forever.
Based on what I've researched on geopolitics, finance, economy, including the religious overlap-most people greatly fail to include, everything occurring: collapsing US economy, finance, currently very fast currency devaluation in the US and the world, US moral collapse in the general population and the world, very likelihood of potential wars in the Middle East, Ukraine, China, wildcard N Korea, anyone one of them can turn into WW3, very likely nuclear, the world as we know it is about to change dramatically for the worse, in the US, European continent, Middle East, very possibly China and Taiwan.
The world is a complete mess to decide where to go for now. No country will escape the repercussions.
If mushroom clouds occur worldwide, there won't be a safe place to go to. Food can't grow under radioactive cloud covering.
For now, and always, best thing to do is repent, pray daily, fast, live according to God's ways, do penance, and don’t worry.
We're all currently living in times like no other generations have experienced throughout all of human history, by far.
    Pray.
After the storm, a new beginning.

Anybody wanting to leave now for a better life elsewhere should take into account what kind of life he or she will be leading in a foreign country 🤔 Can you tolerate living somewhere for 5 years towards permanent residency or citizenship there. Will you miss being in America 🇺🇸 The place you choose is important because it can be a culture shock 😲

That exodus has already started, and you will be stuck in line behind all of the other US, UK and Canadian citizens that have already applied for their visas and second citizenships.

    Thank you for your post.
Brain drain can be economically quantified by assessing the loss of human capital and the subsequent impacts on productivity, innovation, and economic growth.
Imagine if the United States were to experience a brain drain resulting in the departure of a significant number of highly skilled professionals, entrepreneurs, and researchers resulting from election outcpmes. Let's assume this leads to a decrease in the country's potential GDP growth rate by 0.5% annually over the next decade.
Given that the current GDP of the United States is approximately $22 trillion, a 0.5% reduction in the annual growth rate could essentially translate into a loss of potential economic output amounting to around $110 billion per year (0.005 * $22 trillion). Over a decade, this could accumulate to approximately $1.1 trillion.
Additionally, the cost of losing skilled individuals who contribute to innovation and new business creation could further impact sectors like technology and healthcare, potentially affecting job creation and industry leadership positions globally.
So basically, if the USA were to experience a brain drain significant enough to lead to a cumulative loss of $1.1 trillion in potential economic output over a decade, roughly involves the departure of approximately 1.1 million highly skilled individuals earning an average of $100,000 annually.
The question becomes... would 1.1 million skilled election flight people organize and mobilize and repatriate elsewhere?

I have always heard foreigners say: A white person speaking American accent English makes everything seems so credible across the board even if he looks like an idiot. This is a huge advantage that they are dissecting this when teaching English lessons in other countries, like why speaking English without accent instantly brings credibility and make you appear smarter, why having an accent generally won't get you to the top. I think the US will still remain on top.
