- Born in Kedah, Malaysia and raised primarily in Kuala Lumpur, Yuna now splits her time between Malaysia and Los Angeles, where she recorded her new album, "Rouge." Yuna began writing songs and teaching herself to play guitar at age 14. She recorded her debut album in 2008, earning her five Malaysian Music Award nominations. Her U.S. debut EP, "Decorate," featured production by Grammy-award winning producer Pharrell Williams. The new LP features "Castaway," a single featuring Tyler, the Creator. Yuna took the BUILD stage to chat about the record and perform a few songs.

I like how the interview wasn't rushed.
They don't cut her off while talking or anything,she wasn't pressured at all.
So refreshing when the interviewer knows something of the guest (research and homework done) and asks questions of Yuna that we, her fans, want to know !! She obviously works hard on her music !
Yeah I agree completely. I know it doesnt relate much but I watched a Nicki minaj interview awhile ago and the interviewers didnt know what they were talking about. It wasnt good and you could tell. This inter iew is nice and smooth and flowing and the right questions were asked because of this. It's just respect in my opinion. If you're inviting someone as a guest you should have a bit of background on them.
