Thank you for sharing, I'm still trying to gain my footing as a warrant. I graduated WOBC last May (2021) & I still haven't gained experience. We should definitely take initiative but I believe we still need guidance and mentorship especially as a reservist.
Congratulations. One big thing that I really noticed that there is a big difference between active duty and reserves and getting experience. On the Reserve side for example since the soldier citizen is doing that type of work on the civilian side and within the industry the experience comes a lot faster because you aren’t as isolated in what you can do. What I learned from active duty is that you were held within the confines of your environment.
