Conan Gray ist kein Anfänger in Sachen Kunst. Mit 15 Jahren gründet er einen RUclips-Kanal, auf dem er Vlogs, Songcovers und Zeichenvideos veröffentlicht. Conan postet schon damals auch immer wieder eigene Songs auf seinem Kanal. Seine erste offizielle Single „Idles Town“ veröffentlicht er noch selber, die Debüt-EP dann unter Republic Records. Darauf folgen zwei Alben, fünf Touren und jetzt das dritte Album von dem jungen Amerikaner. Bei dem musikalischen Erfolg, den er inzwischen hat, bleibt nicht mehr so viel Zeit zum Malen. Bei uns kriegt Conan zwar auch nicht viel Zeit, um das Albumcover von „Found Heaven“ zu malen, aber immerhin 15 Minuten.
„Found Heaven“ ist eine Mischung aus Synth-Pop, Glam Rock und Conans ganz eigenem Touch. Für das Album hat sich Conan von den 80ern mehr als nur inspirieren lassen. Die Musik, die Videos und auch das Albumcover erscheinen wie aus einer anderen Zeit. Das Bild für das Albumcover wurde von der Fotografin Elizaveta Porodina gemacht, eine große Inspiration für Conan: „It was one of the most memorable shoots of my life“.

LITERALLY I really relate deeply to this album so I just knew I had to buy the teardrop necklace. And Conan explaining the teardrop symbol really was relatable to me.
